Stare into the face of death

I stare into the face of death and it stares back, callous red eyes glaring into my own. Its mighty wing beats fan the ever growing flames as they lick eagerly at the rotting beams which prop up the old watchtower. Sweat beads on my brow, painting gleaming trails through days' worth of grime. I consider my options; perish in the fire, or risk the crushing strength of the beast's jaws for a chance at freedom.

I always did wonder if Alduin was at least a little curious about the people of Skyrim while he rampaged around.

I'm not actually sure why I picked 'Blackguard' for the title, just something about Alduin's expression in this shot seemed to fit the word
