“Nocturnal, be my shadow” whispers Talia as she stands in front of the large gates of Solitude. She takes a deep breath, tightens her hood and mask and drinks her potion to finally become one with the night. Her mission would be difficult for anyone else but not for her: Erase the city´s people. The gates are closed at this time for the night yet they are guarded by many men. Talia studied her path many times before she left for the mission and she knows she can complete it. Time runs, she has only some minutes left before she turns again visible, but she feels the embrace of Nocturnal. Talia isn´t a nightingale anymore, nor is she an assassin of the Dark Brotherhood, she is more than these two secret groups; she has become the very first Shadow Blade! Or like Nocturnal calls Talia, her “cold shadow”.
