"Look, I know this might sound like a *really* stupid idea, but hear me out..."

Adventuring isn't just about slaying nightmarish monsters, avoiding deadly traps, solving complex puzzles and retrieving priceless treasures, but also about making choices. Making the right choice has a great impact on your party's chance of survival (which is in your best interest), but might also have a greater influence on future events. Keep in mind, however, that your opinion might vary greatly from those of your other party members. It is for this reason that building a functional party with compatible personalities is of greatest importance.

Perhaps this is where the long line of choices begins; the question of whether to hire that suspicious-looking spell-caster with questionable motives while you already have a noble knight with a very moral outlook on how the world works in your party. I suppose sometimes things just work out against all odds.
