you mean an ambient occlusion map ? i always use one that i bake from the high poly model. It's not that noticeable here but it is present.

in my opinion it's the texture...it lacks of depth in game...i know it's not easy..but all the vanilla armors have a nbit of shadows on them...expecially witcher textures...
they paint the shadow the mesh should cast on itself...

well they paint all the shadows the game isn't able to produce...

What we need is cloth collision, it would make half of the clothes and armor look ten times better but would probably kill my framerate^^.

I would suggest that you go with a medium to dark brown on the pants. I would also suggest that you go with a darker red/brown on the leather corset and armor plates. A reddish color tends to bring out the quality of the leather more accurately in my experience, along the lines of an autumn leaf in value.

I understand that it is a WIP, so get to it and up the awesomeness!

skyrim render tend to "eat" many small details...try to enhance contrast on specular map.
also dds compression is really tex killer... use a weak noise filter...2 px or something like depends on size.
use a golden envmap above breast and shoulder and remove some saturation on those parts...also u may need a lot less brightness due to the env .
metal parts...try to make them darker on diffuse but very clear on spec... best of luck...interesting concept art.... u're making a great job with the model

No, definitely not happening. You'll have to use something else if you don't like them.

Any possibility of alternate boots that aren't high-heeled?

nah, vanilla is even worse. I don't even use a enb for gameplay, my computer can barely run anymore, it would fall apart . I used an enb because it darkens it a bit. For whatever reason the game desaturates and lightens my textures. The same thing happened with the previous armor I released.

The lighting just sucks in bethesda games, they need a better engine than the same rehashed one they've been using for years.

Are you sure its not just because of an ENB you're using? They can mess around with the colors a lot.

The textures are alright, don't misunderstand. I'm just slightly dissapointed they look different ingame than they actually are supposed to.
