The north is harsh. If you find yourself unfortunate enough to be caught in a snowstorm, there is no telling whether you'll make it out alive. It is then, after having climbed a rather steep hill when we spotted a camp off to the distance. Tents, soldiers, and... a fire! Sweet warmth! A place to rest, just for a while. We could certainly agree upon some kind of arrangement. A place by the fire in trade for some of the treasure we found in our latest exploration. A magical blade, perhaps? Potions for strength, or arcane scrolls! There is a war going on after all, surely they'd have need for anything we might have to off-
