Sometimes Adventuring can be really hard
and when you get back to the nearest inn you realize it's like 3am
you're lugging this huge bag of treasures and all kinds of loot around but no shops are open
so you decide to just barge into the next inn, grab a bite to eat and crash into the nearest bed
but it's 3am, and if you sleep for like 8 hours you'll be up sometime at noon again
that's no way to start a day at all

So sometimes an Adventurer dedicates an entire day to sleeping, so he can be well rested at 5-8am the next day and tired at night, waking up every now and then to grab something to eat and drink before sleeping some more. Proper schedules are important, you know.
