The artist's vision is what matters, not the opinions of critics. If you enjoy the work believe me others will too. Listen to Sumo's words, very true indeed.
@Azeneth Nah, that is actually good not critique yourself when you are in the middle of drawing. Drawing requires acting with your hand, not thinking--otherwise you'd easily become your own worst critic, like what I'm prone to doing. xD That said the best way to practice in traditional drawing in terms of proprtions is always life drawing, which I think you already do in terms of using photo references.
@ sumojellybean Thank you so much. Critique is allways welcomed . I appreciate that. But the thing is when I draw I really don't think very much about perspective, proportions. It's hard to explain and I'm not sure how to put it, but when I draw, I just "go with the flow". I'm not thinking too much, I just draw. I know it's my mistake cause I see what went wrong when sketch is finished or when someone notices. Anyway, thanks for advices. Hope my next fanart will be better .
Nice work, I like your lines and scratchiness of the sketch. Your proportions also look are pretty well rounded.
If you are searching for some technical critiques though:
Spoiler:
Show
The left arm (with the bow) looks very static because there is no curve to indicate the elbow .
The left leg seems to taper off the page very weirdly and therefore looks thinner than the right.
Perspective wise, the right hand could be at the side of the hip, instead of behind it. IDK, the way the right breast leads up to the right arms, and then to elbow, it looks like it the right hand should be at the side, not behind.
Right leg should be at a more straighter angle to make her positioning look more stable.
Also the head might be a bit small or too far away from the chest. That said her hair is distracting, so I can’t really say.
Like I said though, I like your drawing style, and its also a delight to see something new on the Nexus. =)
