I like the runes idea, afterall this armor is supposed to be ceremonial to begin with right? It's uncommon and powerful, and is freshly forged. You don't just 'find' dragonscale armor, in my experience. My one concern is the more 'pebble-ee' dragon hide on the arms, kilt/skirt, etc. Obviously this was a vanilla issue to begin with, but in my opinion the hide always looked silly, cloth or chainmail would be great but who knows, you probably can make the hide look great, knowing your skills.
i think, you should make the metal part more rust and no runes, put scratches like iron and not steel, the scales just make them more burned i think and with somme marks like cuts to show the forge. well is just few ideas.
and about the orcish i hope you release soon, because all i see until now is recollor, i think she need have more dark green and scretches somme smashed textures on chest but is a aidea too.
