About this image

I went ahead and kept adding to the outfit.

I've added spurs and armor plateing to the boots. A corsette with bow, sting/laces to tie up the back, and tail/skirts.

It's an original work that takes inspiration from Skyrim, Christmas Lingerie, and Tera screenies never played it.

    I'm using 2.63 and 2.49
    Also Sculptris

I'm surprised really at just how many polygons can be squeezed into game.
Yes I've significantly reduced the poly count of some of the pieces already there is a cap on how many can go into a nif file apparantly.

The poly count in the picture is the Raw Count before reductions in 2.49's poly reducer script. Which I ran 2 to 4 times for the parts in the other pictures and then fixed the edges manually. It'd be easy with Max and Mudbox but the tools I'm using are free, as I'm not a student, no longer a teacher, and not attending school presently.

Still I worry about the count but on my machine it runs fine, but I'm adding a few more pieces so that's subject to change.

Thanks for taking an interest Natterforme

You are going to want to lower the polycount on that eventually. Making new meshes is relatively easy and fun to do, at least for me. Its the textures and constant ingame testing that proves whether or not it will be a success!^^

You are using Blender 2.49b right?

    Endorsed!

    Hey thanks you two.

    @DaftWalker
Strings??? Are you talking about the strings on the Corsette? I think armor being tied off secured should make points of interest, look cool.

The Corsette I think with the right texture will appear to be Banded Mail as in it'll have metal bands running vertically along the midsection.

I'm considering something for the Theighs, I'd like to place either a garter, a belt, or even some metal plates to cover the fronts of the theighs.

I am starting to agree about sexy women armors having a little more "Armor" the bathing suit armors we have now are fine but there's plenty of them. I think it had more to do with time/know how a little more than just appeal, this stuff takes time and learning.

more things I'm now thinking of adding
-Thegh plates with some lace trim poking out of the theigh high boots.
-I think I need an optional breast plating just a bit more protection. Oval pieces over the obvious
    area
-when the hood is off I think something should cover the clavicle/shoulder area, coming down to the beggining of the top part of the cleavage/front and down to about the shoulder blades
-Some more skrit ruffle it's really bothering me. I like TNA just as much as the next guy but hey extra theigh and butt protection...Certainly easy enough for people to remove for taste's concerns anyway.

Thing is this is Fantasy it's a strong point I think people forget, yes there are real women in the service and people out there like realism but it's a game in a "Fantasy" setting.

I still value your opinion thank you.

    Looks really good!

But i'm not the fan of seeing Strings from a Fighter woman, anyhow, maybe you add a more Armor Version to the Back

I'm considering adding a lace trim just along the bottom of the corsette...just where the skirtting of the corsette is...Still not entirely sure how to add that sort of texture property, I'll use a florral pattern there's some free ones online for general use so at least thats a start.

The lace trim would add skirtting and make her bottom just a bit less here it is while being see through still revealling. Also gives more layers and interest.

I'm still considering a cape that would hang down from the hoody, would be a seperate piece and I'm still figureing that out. I believe I can use the skeleton from one of the cape mods or there might even be one in the source vanilla files.

I'm not too satisfied with the tails, but the Tera ones are pretty simple mesh wise it's the texture patterns that make them...Texture is going to be a lot of work not so sure there. Good texture work really makes a lot of outfits D:

Wasn't sure about the bow, but since it is a corsette and in 3rd personn veiw I thought hey makes it prettier. The bow was real tiny at first so I thought hey if someones suppused to see it make it bigger more noticeable.

I keep thinking about what to do with the shoulderpads and legplates. Adding details there would be a choice between mesh work or texture work... Also there's considering do I want them to be as detailed as the belt or leave them be and the belt stands out more?

Adding spurs I'm really happy about these they are pretty much nonexsistant out there on 3d models right now and fit perfectly with where Skyrim is going. I might have to just put a few texture patterns on those rather than the plateing make them stand out. Just a decal on the sides of them with bump mapping. There's plenty of real life examples to be seen to draw inspiration from.

I've wanted to add a hanging belt but this piece is running out of realistate...At some point this 1st armor needs to come to an end so a 2nd one can begin and I can start fresh with what I've learned.

    Comments are welcome.
