As the child of a vampire and a human, Kitariah's is a strange view upon the hunting of her estranged kin. It is not what they are that drives her toward their destruction; it is what they do. Were it that she might discover a happy couple, or even a family, the likes of which she was robbed of by events whose details elude her to this day, she might lay down her weapons, hang her raiment, and rest her bloodied hands. Such revelations, however, are little more than a deluded fantasy to her long-jaded heart.
