    Here in UK - we only had 3 channels at the time - so not a lot of choice (now we have 100's and still nothing worth watching)

    I suffered the ending many times because there was a program after it I wanted to watch.

    lol, I'm younger than 40 but I do remember reruns from the 80's. This is probably how current day parents would respond. >.<
