..just before you take another man's life, I like to close my eyes and pretend that I'm anywhere else but here.. Maybe out in a field picking flowers, or at a bar, sipping mead and chatting up the strapping young lad who'd been eyeing me all night. But then my eyes open again, and here I am, about to deliver another soul to it's maker. Such is the life I've chosen, forever will their faces haunt me.
