I agree with ya, LABTECH. I enjoyed the books immensely but I do have a fondness for the film as well. I wasn't too keen on the tv show though but I think Syfi dropped the ball on that one.
Moonpaths is a great mod, as for dune the books were far better than the movie or series but hard to read due to the authors style of writing still the ideas were inspirational, imagine having the powers of the quiz hatze hadarach (Doubtfull spelling read them ages ago) and sand worm's with thumpers (setting up ambushes) fighting for one of the houses or the fremen, folding space instantaneoulsy bewtween worlds which the god emperor at first could do before he turned into a sentient sand worm and knowing all possible time streams as well as seeing into the future if only a dune rpg could have been that good, If only the mind could do that and not be open to corruption through our dark suppressed side as the tales in the book tell over time he turned into an absolute tyrant before being overthrown.
