Silas is a drifter in every sense of the word. Ever since migrating to Skyrim from his home province of High Rock, he's been living off the land - hunting for his own food and collecting herbs in order to make potions. As a Breton, he also has a strong fascination with magic, but practicing it in the cold north has proved difficult.

His inability to resist magical experimentations has forced him into living on the move, after getting shunned and persecuted in many of Skyrim's towns. As a result, his skills as a mage are still very much crude, but he manages to fight off the dangers in the wilds with his hunting bow and knife. At least for the time being...
