**THAIDEN CHARACTER BELONGS TO 83WILLOW , PERMISSION TAKEN FROM HER TO WRITE THE BACK STORY**

This is the story of Thaiden Feredir , the Companion .

Thaiden was born in Whiterun at 4E 177 of Frostfall . His father , Thoril Feredir was a Companion , right hand of Kodlak Whitemane . His mother died after he was born . He grew up with Farkas , he knew him as his brother , though Farkas had his brother Vilkas , he spent more time with Thaiden . Thoril trained them both , while Kodlak trained Vilkas . Thaiden loved hunting with his father , they went hunting every morning . But one day , everything changed . The Silver Hand ambushed them while they were hunting near White River . Thoril told Thaiden to run , he was terrified , paralyzed...Thaiden regained his consciousness when his father yelled at him again to run . He hid into wide bushes and saw his father's struggle against those murderers . He turned into a werewolf , started to rip them apart . But they were endless , they were coming from everywhere . Suddenly , another werewolf joined his father . Thaiden recognized that one...blue eyes , grey fur...it was Kodlak . He knew about The Circle and the beast blood , so he wasn't surprised about their beast form . Both of them killed all of the Silver Hand ambushers .They returned to their human form , but Thoril fell to the ground . Thaiden immediately ran to his father . He was mortally wounded , his wounds were beyond healing , even with magic . Thaiden was crying , looking at his wounded father .
Thoril held his son's hand , looked at him in the eye and gave his last breath .
Thaiden couldn't believe that he lost his father , he was just 13 years old . Kodlak
was also sad upon losing his best friend . Thaiden took his father's sword and said
'' I...will make them pay for this , i will avenge my father . '' with a sad and angry voice .
Kodlak put his hand to Thaiden's shoulder and said '' Your time will come young blood , you
still have much to learn . Let's return your father to Jorrvaskr , we will make the ceremony
there . '' By the time they returned to Jorrvaskr , members of the Circle placed Thoril above
the Skyforge and spoken the words : '' Before the ancient flame , we grieve . At this loss , we weep . For the fallen , we shout . And for ourselves , we take our leave .'' Kodlak gave the torch to Thaiden , he lit up the woods under his father's body and ended the ceremony . Thaiden was watching his father turning into ashes . He was broken , his parents were gone . Farkas came to him and said '' I'm sorry for your loss , he was like a father to me as well . We will avenge him together brother , i promise you . '' Words of his brother gave him courage and made him feel good a bit . The next day , Thaiden started to train with Kodlak , studied arts of combat and got stronger everyday . 11 years passed from his father's death , Thaiden was now 24 years old and a true Companion . Kodlak raised him as his son , he was proud of him . He approached Thaiden , put his hand on his shoulder , looked at him in the eye and said : '' You've become a strong warrior and a fine lad , son . Thoril would be proud of you . '' Thaiden replied : '' I'm like this thanks to you Kodlak , i will carry on my father's legacy and be an honorable Companion . ''

Even though , he still had his need for vengeance . He and Farkas hunted down every Silver Hand they could find , secretly from Kodlak . Thoril's death was avenged long ago , they had taken more lives than the honor demanded . But they didn't stop , because the Silver Hand was a threat to the Companions , and they had to be taken care of . Someday , they will respond to their actions , but when ? That remains to be seen .
