Being a newcomer to Skyrim, Alora is not quite sure whose side to pick in the Imperial and Thalmors vs Stormcloaks war. So when she stumbled upon one of their many battles, she decided to just relax, take out her mug mead, and watch the proceeding with great interest.

Though later once the battle is over, she slaughtered the surviving Thalmors, because their nice, shiny, expensive looking elven armor was just too tempting. Plus they weren't nice to her.
