About this image

I see a lot of people doing this olympic torch thing in game and I find it somewhat...annoying.
The London olympics are the very embodiment of one of the major political problems this country is facing.
The parasitic dominance of London in parliament and our governments inability to remember there is a UK outside the south east of England.

Thanks to that the rest of the country rots while London sucks more and more of the life out of it. Kind of funny now that I think about it considering that the character here is a vampire.

I've got news for you, they couldn't care less about the south east either, the only people they care about are the bankers who are robbing us blind.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TORCHE SO DON'T READ WARNING CONTAINS POLITICAL OPPINION AND FACTS RELEVENT TO THE UK ONLY.

    just for Steamtacular.

stematacular what about Guy Falk's, putting out the torch is synonimouse with stopping the argument and in any country or any area of that country it remains only they who hold the flame who have a say in what it doese - By the way I understand your point of view it is the helpless cry of anger that you should channel into politics, If you can't beat them from without there is only one way to win from within.

London however is not guilty of some self serving uppercrust miss-educated puppets action's, look to the hand in the glove for it is seldom the king on the throne more the one'(s) pulling the string's and as far as UK politics go or American only by making it illegal to provide financial backing for political party's over 1/3rd of the potential vote and replacing there funding with a tax based subsidy, with impartial adjudication could you ever hope to minimise the corruption engendered by those who see backing the parties financially as a key to there own power.

Alway's be carefull not to throw the baby out with the bathwater and remember the uk is not a Democracy rather it is a parliamentery monarchy which mean's the government can and will do anything they like to there country regardless of the opinion of the nation- especially when they know they are not getting re-elected next term but to undo that damage requires far more strength in there successor so it is seldom undone such as when Mr's thatcher used the miner's strikes of the 1980's to justify more stringent crowd control and anti free speech policyes while her husband an multi billionare with most of his assets well outside the uk, including funding military dictatorships in africa and owning coal mines in all but name in south america wanted to bring cheap and very nasty sulferouse coal to burn in britains then numersouse coal fired power plant's, she also used football strife to bring said controlls into effect and never forget Niel kinnocks last election were he won by a landslide but the addition of a minor constituancy turned the vote to the conservative party despite the fact it did not make mathematical sense, Electoral fraud, well britain has it.

Without TONY BLAIR, cameron could never create the policy's he has as TONY BLIAR signed the GAT WORLD TRADE AGREEMENT and was instrumental in forcing other country's to sign it, although it is long winded it is an international agreement for countrys to open up all publicly provided services (NHS,POLICE,PRISON SERVICE,AIRPORT SECURITY,JOB CENTRE,SCHOOL MEALS,EDUCATION,PENSION'S,TAX OFFICE etc) to private contractors, so your tax will be paying for substandard services making profit for wealthy private individuals while your country enters a new dark age reversing the policys of the 1950's which heralded a golden age for the british people and made the uk the envy of the world, Like i say look to the hand in the glove or the person who pulls the string's- don't be surprised if he jas two invisible horn's and worships bathamet in secret society's.

Since I was given stewardship of the torch bearing by Labtech, two possible reasons I listed for posting a torch picture were "in protest, or mockery." This is the first picture to do either of those things and I appreciate that.
However while this fits, it will probably be the end cap, added to the chain just before the olympics start(I guess that's when we are going to end this thing). At least we know how the relay ends: in the sea of ghosts.

You may be content to shrug your shoulders and say "I can't do anything. I'm nobody" then run away from the problems.
But I will not. Every time I am confronted by people who have forgotten how to act like human beings I will point it out. Every time I see people celebrating the slow death of my homeland in ignorance I will educate them.

Every time you try to run away I will drag you back kicking and screaming.

It might be "retarded" but then again so was your decision to come on here and attack something that has no say in what goes on in your country. All this torch thing is is something that people are having fun with. Your opinions fall upon deaf ears. Voice your concerns on a sight made for doing just that, not on a video game website where everyone is here for fun and relaxation and a break from real world problems which you felt the need to bring them rushing back to everyone.

Using the "oh other people have it worse" argument is retarded.
Just because other people are in shittier conditions is no reason to ignore our problems. The majority of the country is dying. We have youth unemployment that in real terms is easily hitting fifty percent plus. We are literally on the verge of total collapse.

The London centric thinking of our government is one of the causes of this.

To simply revel in the fun and games without paying attention to its cost is pure decadence. Something done only by fools and the corrupt.

I'm not going to say much here, but seriously... your country isn't the only one with major political problems. Everywhere you look in the world today, their are political problems far worse then England's. I'm sorry but to come on here and attack some of the nicest people on this site simply because they are having fun and love the idea of the Olympics, is really a low and immature thing to do. Reflects badly on the kind of person you are. Also there are only 30ish pictures up. Out of probably a thousand that have uploaded during the same time. It's not hard to ignore.

And you think the Nexus is the right place to voice "major political problems"?

I, in turn, find it a bit presumptuous of you to think we have a political motivation with the "Skyrim Olympcic Torch Relay". It takes it's ideas for the Olympic Games, yes, and they happen to be in London, so what? The whole thing has turned into a great project and lots of people enjoy participating, in a word: It's fun.

I, for one, am not from the UK, have no idea about the "major political problems" you talk of, and if I wanted to know I sure as hell wouldnt go looking here.

Last but not least let me give you an advice: If you find it so annoying, just ignore it. But let us have our fun.
