Hi guys,
So let me clarify the load order for you a little bit. It really isn't very confusing really - but the problem is that everyone wants to use every single mod in one great big sandwich and they all want to just click "Download with NMM" and not really know what they are really doing.
Anyway, here is some advice on the load order!
Try to load RLO as low in the load order as possible. This will ensure you get all our lighting changes and nothing interferes with it. It should also help player house mods to get our imagespaces if they use default lighting.
For those using only RLO here's the load order :
Player Home mods
Unofficial Skyrim Patches
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Interiors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Minor Cities and Town Interiors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Exteriors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dawnguard Interiors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dungeons.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Brighter Dungeons.esp*
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Weathers.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dawnguard Weathers
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Weathers - Brighter Nights.esp*
RLO - Major City Exteriors - No Guard Torches.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Illuminated Spells.esp
Only use the following with Vanilla Weathers : Load last.
RLO - Adaptive Interiors Vanilla Weathers Patch.esp**
For those using Climates of Tamriel here's the load order :
DO NOT USE Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Adaptive Interiors Vanilla Weathers Patch with COT, it won't do anything!
ClimatesOfTamriel.esm
Player Home mods
Unofficial Skyrim Patches
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Interiors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Minor Cities and Town Interiors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Exteriors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dawnguard Interiors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dungeons.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Brighter Dungeons.esp*
RLO - Major City Exteriors - No Guard Torches.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Illuminated Spells.esp
ClimatesOfTamriel - VannillaNights.esp (whatever your lvl is)
ClimatesOfTamriel - DLC weathers ONLY.
DO NOT USE ClimatesOfTamriel - Interiors OR dungeon esp's - (any version warm or otherwise) - This one should be ticked-off (not active)
***************************************************************
DO NOT USE RLO + ELFX TOGETHER. THEY ARE NO LONGER COMPATIBLE.
RLO for ELFX esp's were given to anamorfus to edit, so use one or the other.
I think you can use the meshes from ELFX with RLO but I will not support it or be responsible if problems happen. I heard it is possible, but I don't know much about the meshes from that mod.
***************************************************************
Player home mods, Lanterns of Skyrim, Claralux, URWL etc should all be loaded before RLO.
Try to load RLO toward the bottom of your load order just to be safe.
Hope this helps!
* - Optional file
** - Do no tuse adaptive interiors with RLO Weather modules.

Could I get the best of both worlds and have both the new adaptive lighting feature in your mod and also the colors from imagespaces(?) of Vivid Weathers? I liked the idea of eyes having to adapt to new lighting in the game, but I hate the original implementation. I love the colors in VW - there is contrast and saturation and the picture seems more clear than in the original game. I don't plan on using an ENB with Vivid Weathers yet, I mean I want to try it without an ENB for now at least.
Thanks in advance.

it only happends if i equip a certain light source (torch or lantern), and it happends in same place as shown in video above and few other that are not that big of a deal but this one in whiterun is bothering me bc you are constantly entering the city, That error doesnt happend if i cast a light spell. So maybe it is not the issue with the skyrim engine and the number of light sources it can display idk. I have installed ENB real vision, RLO and COT in order as author of ENB suggested and done all other changes. This is load order:
ClimatesOfTamriel.esm
...(few other mods)
...(imersive npcs in the dark) - flickering happened before installing this mod
...(Chesko Wearable Lantern) - flickering happened before installing this mod
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dungeons.esp Version 4
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dawnguard Interiors.esp Version 4
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Exteriors.esp Version 4
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Interiors.esp Version 4
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Minor Cities and Town Interiors.esp
ClimatesOfTamriel-Dawnguard-Patch.esp Version 3.1
ClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.esp Version 3.1
Supreme Storms - Cot Version.esp
CoT-WeatherPatch.esp
CoT-WeatherPatch_DB.esp
CoT-WeatherPatch_Snow-40.esp
CoT-WeatherPatch_SupStorms.esp
CoT-WeatherPatch_NL3.esp
Is this load order fine? do You have any suggestions?, Thanks
That fixed it for me, due to it moving some of the light sources around.
I had the same problem yesterday and it was annoying me like hell.
I had version 4.0.8.01 AND 4.0.8.02 installed (when asked to update, I had hit no.... when in fact I should have hit yes!)
Uninstall all of your RLO mods, delete them, and redownload ONLY 4.0.8.02 and install that by itself.
~This is what solved the issue for me. The problem was that the old and newer versions of RLO were conflicting with each other.
As a Mistress of the Dibellan Arts, I do that a lot.
Is there some other fix to flickering/vanishing textures? Here's a short video of what I'm getting in-game: https://youtu.be/2CWUwkPONg8
As I'm new to modding I guess I may need to uninstall the mods and then reinstall them in the order listed above.
I should add that I have installed ENB and mods in the order they list and as per the installation instructional video.
Any suggestions or tips I can do to improve interior lighting?
Although for me many of the town interiors seem to have vanilla lighting, with the heavy white/green fog at 20 feet and all.
Homes still seem to be well lit for me, but about a week ago I noticed I had light clipping/blinking/flickering issues when looking in certain directions or angles... found out I had 2 of the files installed instead of just the main one (under updates).
Uninstall all RLO mods, delete them from NMM. Redownload only the one you want (I recommend 4.0.8.02 at the time of this posting it's the latest) and be sure to run LOOT so it will do all of the proper sorting for you.
Run your game and see if it's better.
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Interiors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Exteriors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dungeons.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dawnguard Interiors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Minor Cities and Towns Interiors.esp
Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Brighter Dungeons.esp
All 6 files are interspersed with other plugin files- I have 166 plugins currently. The reason I'm checking on all of this is that I'm getting flickering and dropout textures when looking in certain directions, but as I pan around a little, everything pops back into view. I posted on Realvision's forum and the author there "called me out" on my RLO load order... which I have always trusted LOOT to keep sorted for me.
So now, I'm at a loss: I'm sure LOOT has valid reasons for choosing the load order it's giving me, but I'm equally sure the author of RLO has valid reasons for his conflicting recommendations.
So I think I'll just spin in place for a bit, because I have no idea where to go from here.
