(Follower) won't talk to me!  Why?
Their dialogues start upon entering the cell they're in. If you have a lot of script-heavy mods also loading at the same time, it could take a few seconds. Just wait. You could also try exiting and re-entering, as sometimes due to game mechanics, the location-change might not kick in right away.
Anduniel: Dialogue starts upon entering the Riften City Worldspace, so if you use Live Another Life starting in Bee and Barb, just exit and re-enter.

I can't raise Favor?
Gift options are only available 1x per 24 game hours and you must have something they want in your inventory; if you don't the dialogue closes. Also, for Anduniel, completing her quests raises favor. Favor was inspired by playing Dragon Age games. If I were to make the mod again, I would have done that part differently, but as it is there are so many favor comments it's too much work to redo.

(Follower) doesn't look like in your pictures, why not?
Some of their looks have evolved over time, for various reasons.  The Nexus banner is 3.0.4.
Also, some of them use default textures from your game, so they might look different from mine.

Followers don't follow.  Why?
Yes they do.  They sandbox while following, rather than dog your heels the whole time.  If you leave the inn or cell, they will appear next to you.

Followers / band members don't sing when I ask them!
Game glitch.  Hit "Esc" or "Space" key before Follower finishes replying, and the song will work.  Works EVERY time.

Problem with "Docks of Solitude" quest, Anduniel/Valla/Tyrion are stuck in scene?
This can happen when players leave the cell before the scenes are finished playing. Use your "stop scene" power. If you just wait for the scene to play, it won't happen.

I dismissed my follower and told them to meet me at (inn) but they just stood there.
Make sure you're not using a mod that alters certain markers, or navmeshes, in vanilla inns and homes, as they might disrupt follower AI.  I use these markers for dismissal, and if the navmesh is not valid (anywhere along the path to the inn) the follower won't know where to go, so it looks like AI isn't working when it really is.  Try leading them a bit closer to the inn and dismiss them again.  If they start walking away then it's working.

What's wrong with Garrett?  He stopped/won't talk to me.
To move completely through his intro conversation, you MUST have joined one of the Guild factions: College of Winterhold, Thieves, Dark Brotherhood, or Companions.  Otherwise, it just cycles through his first greeting. This has been changed in the later 4.x versions; any dialogue choice will get through his intro.
If you think something is stuck when he calls to Isabela, just WAIT, she will get to him.

Will you change the G-word?
No. Some people have for some reason just assumed that Zorya is Romani, but she has nothing to do with Romani. Rather she is loosely based in IRISH folklore, where gypsies were simply a traveling people. There are hundreds of Celtic songs about gypsies. If Romani have a different meaning, it is pure coincidence, as no part of this mod is based on or at all influenced by anything Romani, so obviously I didn't know. The only thing I've ever studied about Romani was a few fiddle tunes in my book "Mel Bay's Gypsy Violin". You're asking for a significant change, to re-write and re-voice a large portion of the mod, a change that would alter the very nature of the character, which I simply will not do. It's unfortunate there are some who misinterpreted my intention. Again, based in Irish, nothing to do with Romani, intended to be simply a fun character. In this country, the USA, present day, "gypsy" is NOT a bad word.

What's wrong with Crystal? She doesn't speak.
I have no idea why, as her dialogue and scripting is sound in the CK. Her voice files appear to have gotten corrupted somehow, and I simply don't have time to delve into fixing it.
Edit: In my latest playthrough, she miraculously just worked again, voice, dialogue and all. I have no idea...

Can I use (Follower)'s armor?
Followers' custom armors and outfits are Playable so you can make them at crafting stations for yourself and also temper theirs.  Except Garrett's, because I still encourage people to dl the original mod from the author.
I have also posted Nadina's armor as a separate mod, called Nadina's Linda Armor (no longer included in 4.3).

Why isn't Raya a Follower?
1) Her voice is too similar to Zorya.
2) She's really not the adventurous type.  Zoyra is more outgoing for that.

How do I change their outfits?
READ SHRIKE'S ARTICLE about the OUTFITS feature explaining how to use it in loads of detail.

Wardrobe malfunction / Follower fights naked / Armor did not equip...?
The Outfit management made by Shrike depends on Keywords being properly attached to armor & clothing bits, in order to equip them properly.  Therefore, vanilla armor/clothing are all accounted for, but MODDED armor is just unpredictable, unless the modder attached the proper Keywords, so if modded armor has problems, ask that modder.

I'm having trouble with (Quest).  Help!
Quests work just fine when tested on a new, clean game. Unfortunately, due to no fault of mine, sometimes the scripting can glitch or lag. I can't help that.

How do I leave the Camp?
Fast-Travel.  It's a basic feature that comes with the game.
But I have that disabled!
Why in the world would you do that? Still, it's your choice, not on me to do extra work to give you a workaround. You can use console codes if you know them or look them up: COC anywhere.

Nadina's parents attack me when I go to their house!
I have no idea why some people have this glitch.  It's not a problem with the mod.
The ONLY way I've ever managed to get this, is when I completely bypass Nadina's mini-quest and coc directly to the house, thus not gaining her friendship and being invited.
There's nothing weird or unusual about her parents, or the house. So if that's what your guys are doing, then guess what? You're not supposed to.

This mod puts a building in the same place as X mod. You should move it.
No. While I do strive to place my buildings in places not likely to cause location conflict,
I still have to put them where they suit MY purposes.
However, we do provide a couple Alternate Locations in the Optional Files.
Please Check those BEFORE DEMANDING A PATCH.

Why can't I find (Building) on the world map?
Certain locations are only accessible by moving the Player and party via a script, initiated by talking to a relevant Follower. Yes, maybe it does break immersion a bit, but I'm willing to make that small sacrifice to reduce conflict with other location mods.

DynDolod gives an error in Tamriel Worldspace blah blah something about #257 index!
I don't use DynDolod and have no advice for it, and based on how MANY times this has come up, I HATE the darn thing more and more, may it rot in Oblivion.
It's a Wild Edit, not something I did. I have even made the correction myself and included in the file, but for users the game seems to just make the error again.
Yes, just fix it yourself back to 128 or whatever the default is.

Another DynDolod problem, incompatible, cannot run it with this mod WAAAH!
I'm told you can merely disable my mod, run DynDolod as normal, then re-enable my mod. Yes it's a little work, but it's also your choice to use that mod.

Cyclic Error in Vortex when loading the BBLS / Undeath Patches!
My esp IS FLAGGED AS A MASTER by myself. I tested it myself in Vortex and it recognized it as a master. I was told that Vortex will actually *remove* the master flag -- no idea how or why -- in which case you merely have to re-esmify it yourself in SSEEdit, so it will re-flag as esm.
Then add the patches. Cyclic error should be solved. I don't use them myself so I never did it. This knowledge comes from others.

CTD when mousing over the underwear in Follower's inventory.
It's a LE mesh problem, would not convert properly. I couldn't remove it from the mod due to multiple references, just too complicated. Don't mess with it, just leave it alone and all will be fine.

How often do you make updates?
Sporadically. I am a professional voice actor and audiobook narrator, so spend a lot of time on my voice business. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but please don't waste my or your time asking when I will update. I do announce updates on the Blog ahead of time, so please just follow that.

Will you make banter with X Companion?
I don't have time anymore to add extra stuff like that.

Will you add any more Companions?
No.  10 is quite enough, and I would rather further develop them than create new ones.  It's also quite a lot of work to add another companion, with all the back-end programming for the special functions.

Will you add my Companion idea?  I have a backstory and I can voice act!
What you're really asking:  Will I do your work for you in my mod?
No.  Make your own mod.  Also, see previous Q.

Are there modular options? Followers as separate mods?
No.  Not going to happen.  They're all too interconnected (scripting, quests, dialogue, banter, etc.)

Why aren't there (more) gay options?
Straight is what I know how to write, and what I enjoy writing. I'm not against making gay characters, but I don't want to do it wrong or in a way that seems stereotypical or artificial. I could maybe write a gay female, but a gay male would be more of a challenge, and frankly it's not something I'm interested in investing all that time in: writing, finding a VA, implementing and testing, when it's just not my thing. Mods are for the creator first, then hoping others will enjoy it too.

Will you port this mod to XBox?
Sorry, no.
1) I use a LOT of modders resources, and they might not all be amenable to having their stuff on Xbox, and
2) There is no way I could support it. I have no idea if things would work the same, and I don't want ppl complaining that things got broken in translation, so to speak, and ragging on me.
I do not grant permission for anyone else to port to Xbox either. This mod is ONLY for PC.

I don't like your characters/voices/armors/etc.
Then don't download the mod. Of course I cannot please everybody.  Please leave without comment.
I take criticism quite well provided it is constructive or objective (preferably both).
