      Many thanks Nataly.

The Thistle King (Fenrir) is rather fond of Fenn considering Fenn hosted his spirit for awhile and is one of his agents ... so he was concerned about Thrynn being his bodyguard and just how trustworthy the ex-bandit was. So he pulled Thrynn into his realm and questioned him. He was happy with the results so let Thrynn leave unharmed.

Blame on me ... I missed this outstanding chapter of fanatsy-writing and read it now ... very late, sorry
Nevertheless I will not only press this green button, because this needs more attention. This story with the dream-sequence , which is it not really, but more a clever check of Thrynn's past and his loyality, brings a really nice surprise for the reader... great idea and so well written. The pictures are wonderful too. Well staged ( especially the Thisle King on the bee ) and great landscapes ( especially the last night shot in the dreamsequence )
This is a wonderful work of fantasy and I like it very much

Thanks Heikie and no worries - I know you had vacation and sometimes its best to just start with a fresh slate when you have been away for a while. But glad you caught this one as I know you enjoy the fantasy stories like this (as do I). Thanks again for the nice comment and glad you enjoyed it!

" Don't blame me - it was Fenn's idea!" And Fenn was your idea! Great work with the images and I think you may have solved the mystery of why a bumble bee is able to fly against all the laws of physics! They have the Thistle King!

Beautiful spot you choose for your shots, I was there once, very relaxing place. I really enjoy this little story in the life of the Thistle King. Amazing shots, such a beautiful place.

It seems Thrynn found himself in quite the pleasant dream conjured up by the Thistle king, having a laugh while lifting some weight off his shoulders in revealing secrets of the past to his unusual friend and the Thistle king got a good insight into who is watching Fenn's back. It seems Fenrir still wants to keep an eye on Fenn even though he had left him to live his own life, an intriguing and surreal short tale. The shots to go along with it are beautiful, especially the main one with those lily pads gently stirring on that calm river, its waters glimmering in the sun among the shadows of the trees. Wonderful work, Jonathan

Thanks Alexi. Thistle (aka Fenrir) wanted to put Thrynn at ease so he would open up and share a lot of information on his history and motives. The enchantment created the dream and relaxed environment and a little wine helped loosen the tongue.

Fenrir cares for Fenn besides Fenn being his avatar and not to mention a way to slide around his deal with Nocturnal. So he will look out for him best he can.

One of the most beautiful mods ever created ... I've taken a lot of images with Leifr there.. his so called vacation home when he wants to disappear from Skyrim for a while. A place, that fits very well into your story - at least in my opinion. And that you're having fun writing some stories about the Thistle Kind, accompanied by Thrynn is self-explaining. They make an awesome team.

    Great colorful Sunday GrimJ

They did make a beautiful sanctuary - I like it a lot and think it makes for a good "Fey" home for the Thistle King.

I don't know if Fenn will stay always with Thrynn. I am not sure he is the settle down type like Grim is. I expect he will have a few companions. In my view right now they are close friends and more of a bromance type of thing.

Thanks for checking the story out

Thanks Quinten. Thistle is excellent at mind and illusion magic so this story worked well with his strengths as he checked out who would be protecting Fenn.

Thanks Erwin! This preset (Insomnia) helped a lot with the dreamy feeling I think. I wanted that slight Midsummer Nights feeling to it since Thistle is like Puck. It was also just fun to make
