This was a wonderful desription of an epic battle with pictures and words. I like the idea, that the Deacon fled and came back after all for some intriguant and selfish reasons ... and Aradia knew this point Really cool
And now, this inhomogen group has to stand in front of this strong enemy Yaga ... I`m tensed further and will wait for the continuation
Really entertaining and well done work

What particular of these scenes is that the deacon is truly escaped from the collision. At one point I did not know where he was. Then I discovered that it had moved away and placed among the trees. So I used the scene very opportune, I would say.
As soon as I can resume the story, but this week I have too much work, it takes a long time to make an episode.
Thank you so much for your interest, my friend

I know, how much time it takes to find a fitting continuation to a story line ... take the time, you need ... all is pleasure here

The idea I currently have is not to reveal what Yaga has told them in the next episode, but to reveal it through flashbacks. Than you so much dear friend!

Really enjoyed the battle scenes, very well planned out and fun to read. Yeah, the Deacon did not disappoint in his cowardly nature, and in his case, perhaps some acts of necromancy should not be performed

    Nice cliffhanger too!

The sex and orgies in the coven of Aradia, as they have, historically had in witchcraft, a big role. Then a certain irony about the deacon is lawful.
Thank you very much my friend.

I wonder if the black witch will melt if you throw water on her

Damn it is true, I'll have to be careful not to end her in the water.
      Thank you very much!

A marvelous tale ! That last image of the black witch is wonderfully done. Her eyes are haunting and seem full of, hmmmm, a kind of wisdom. The kind created by undergoing many trials and tribulations. She becomes with that one image, a character that is very difficult to identify with on one hand, but is also one who has depth and breadth we did not anticipate. Evil ? yes but there is a story there of how and why she became so. Masterful work. You are a unique and exceptional talent, thank you for sharing your talent with us. By the way , I think Frank Oz would be very, very pleased also.

Your interpretation of Yaga is not so far from the truth. Is an archetypal character that unites Baba Yaga and the western witch of Oz's world.
The witch has always been a symbol of wisdom and knowledge, but certainly is the main opponent of Aradia, and it works in abysmal ways through subterfuges, which makes it particularly pesky.
To Frank Oz, would this version please? I do not know, but it would certainly be more pleasing to the last incarnation of the novel, turning the story into a typically adolescent serial, losing that fairytale dimension that was its characteristic aspect.
      Thank you so much friend!

Well i didn't think negotiations were going to go well when they asked for the tasty two men, though it did go well once swords axes and magic was introduced and now we see a more sinister looking The Black witch, she reminds me of that one from the Wizard of Oz, great set m8

It is not a secret that this story is strongly inspired by the Wizard of OZ. It was not so at first but then suddenly it took that, golden, path.
Thank you for the comment m8!

Well written battle scene with all 4 of them showing their colors so to speak. Fighting is a good way to test ones mettle and show it at the same time. Certainly the Deacon did not disappoint in his cowardly ways.

Seeing Yaga was a total surprise. I did not expect you to spring her so soon. I wonder what will happen next?

Indeed, in the original novel, the western witch makes its appearance very soon. I have followed instinctively this track, also because unlike the novel, here, the group's situation is really more complex.
This is a group always on the verge of collapse, especially for religious reasons, and it is well known that religion is a powerful cause of conflict. the Dragon quest is a too vague motive to cement the company. Only with the appearance of a well-defined and well identifiable opponent the group can set aside their internal conflicts and ally against the common enemy.
      Thank you so much Jon.
