It's a sad feeling, ending a character playthrough. And I mean ending it, not getting bored and moving on to a new character. You want to keep playing, but you know your character's arc has reached it's conclusion and you know it's just right to let your character rest.

So here's one last screenshot of my favorite Skyrim character, Yuria.

A girl whose uncontrolled power ripped apart the fabric of Nirn and conjured Daedra, destroying her village. A sorceress who wandered the unforgiving cold landscape of Skyrim alone. A mage who, despite saving the College of Winterhold was viewed with a wary eye. A heretic who was turned over to the Vigilants of Stendarr for execution, only to be saved by a kind man named Jacob. A Vigilant who prevented Molag Bal from entering Nirn. A lonely woman who found acceptance from a Volkihar royal. A hero who conquered Coldharbour and saved the souls of those trapped by Bal.

The dream of a nameless Magne-Ge who, fascinated by the world Lorkhan gave up everything to create, gave up everything herself in order to experience life as a mortal. Here, at the end, she finally remembered who she was. And just as all dreams must end when the dreamer awakens, so too must she eventually fade away and return to Aetherius, a short-lived, but brilliantly star.
