This is a wonderful shot with warm light and lots of colors!
I also use the texture made by Laast and I've been a fan of his works ever since I played with Purity only back when I also had a machine that felt better without any ENB's installed. I still today feel some of those old Vanilla/Purity shots are among my bests, especially when it comes to create a certain atmosphere, but I've been "stuck" with ENB's since one year back now thanks to a better PC.
I agree, Laast's work is beautiful, and I used Purity with my previous install.. it was gorgeous. I decided, this time round, for a change of pace, to try out Vivid Weathers, even though it's a bit heavier. I have tweaked some of it by adding Solveig Sunglare, and Saturation Boost, since I'm not crazy about the saturation options in VW; overall I'm very happy with the results. I'll have to see how it goes once I get my mitts on a new card... No doubt I'll experiment with ENBs (I very much like the looks of Antique Dragon), but it's entirely possible I'll return to something like this... I like the subtlety and sense of realism. And, as you say, the sense of atmosphere you can get. My current computer is actually quite decent ( 16 GB RAM, 15 4690), but my 2 GB 960 card is the weak link. When I built this machine a couple of years ago cards seemed to be in transition; my choices were the: 960, 970 and 980. I didn't really think the 970 or 980 were worth it, so I opted for the budget card, figuring I could upgrade when the time was right.
I certainly do find that the combination of lighting/weather mods, as well as Dynavision, really do go a long way toward mimicking the appearance of an ENB, at least some of the more performance-oriented ones. Though.... I am, nonetheless, quite looking forward to getting that new card, hopefully in the next few months, because there are also some fantastic-looking ENBs that I'd like to try out. At least though, you can easily get away without installing an ENB in Skyrim; Oblivion, in my opinion, however, absolutely *needs* one.
Thank you Fredlaus Those are Laast's Authentic Solitude textures. I really like a lot of his work, it looks great, and is at 1K, so it's nice and light.

Beautiful shot, Sonja!

Again, thanks
