"I have needed to tell you all something for a while now!" Serana announced to everyone once they had settled in their room at the Inn. "Just because I'm a vampire doesn't mean I don't have any feelings!" Serana said in a softer than usual tone.
'Oh-oh!' Graykin thought to himself in alarm, 'I'm not sure where this is headed!' He steeled himself emotionally, for the probable storm to come!
The Twins and Sophia stirred uneasily as well!
"At first when you all began teasing me I felt a little annoyed!" Serana continued, "But then when you all jumped in without any hesitation, and helped me whenever we were in a fight and then made sure I was fine afterwards... well, I began to realize how you actually felt about me!" She looked around and grinned at everyone. "Especially when I noticed that you teased each other just as much!"
Sophia and the Twins started tearing up slightly, understanding now what Serana was trying to explain to them.
"Well, I just wanted to say... that is tell you all, I finally know what it feels like... to be in a real family!" She wiped her eyes and finished her announcement, "and I love you all!".
'Dammit!' Graykin thought to himself ruefully, 'Now, there isn't going to be a dry eye in the house!' As everyone converged on Serana and hugged her tightly!
