Well that was a very interesting little tale of a rogue at work ! It's all about the gold ..let the nobles play their silly games while you just richer on their petty squabbles !

Thanks! Just a story that got in my head while hiking one day and wanted to put it to virtual paper.

Haha ... the game of the houses/nobles it´s always the same ... I read at the moment ( with interruptions of other lectures) "Wheel of Time" and there it has an important role too

You wrote very amusing and I would have read more .... Thank you
Wolf alias Lor Tarod is a smooth operator ...congrats

I like the mood of your pics , especially the green tones are fantastic as in this picture and the second from the end. I like the last one for the perfect expression on face and in pose from Wolf

Many thanks BM and glad you enjoyed this more unusual tale I wrote about another side of Wolf's personality. I used Insomnia ENB for the shots which tends to have a lot of dark moody tones to it at times.

The intrigues and games of the nobility. In the end, two fat coin purses and the world remained as it began. This kind of thing is how I would prefer the Skyrim Thieves Guild to be like, less petty crime and thug behavior and more infiltration and gamesmanship.

Really great work. Had to read it twice to make sure I didn't miss something, and knowing myself I probably did anyway

Thanks. I prefer playing the guild this way myself and it seems closer to how the original GM viewed it. Mercer just brought every thing down to petty crime because he didn't care about the guild. At least that is how I view it.

That was a cool intermezzo,.. Wolf is pretty smart and must have a considerable amount of charisma to, to pull this off,... Also the apachi and Urshi store looks great,...

Thanks Erwin! I would say Wolf, in his role as Tarod, can be very charismatic. He wasn't in the past but I expect his time spent with Mani taught him many things.

Edrelle and her roguish friends would certainly approve of how Wolf managed to play those two nobles against each other, playing the helpful friend of both in their foolish schemes for revenge with neither being any the wiser and quite a few coins lighter. He is one most sly that Wolf and what a wonderful playful short story, Jonathan, it shows that you had fun writing this one

Thanks Alexi and you are correct - this was a relaxing and fun story to write. Wolf has some ties to Fenrir and hence shares that Wolf's sense of enjoyment for trickery and slyness.

A fine read to enjoy with my afternoon tea. Thank you my kind sir. Loved the fashion show too, always love a well-dressed man; and a very sexy one at that.

Thanks! Aye Grim was never really one for fashion or socializing or anything remotely close to any part of this story. Its a different side of my own personality as well. So wanted to develop it a little. I will have to adjust Wolf's story/personality a little though as his original concept was more withdrawn and emotionally troubled. This version of Wolf is far more suave and sophisticated. But I am thinking maybe Mani taught him some good social skills.

Aye especially when you tend to despise most of the nobility (but not all, some are decent folk).
