About this image
An experimental image. Frankly, my frustration with my Skryim has me posting an image that wasn't really meant to be posted, but I want to reach out to the community to see if anyone has any ideas. The image is just a bonus (an old image). So, my question is this. Has anyone had any issues when using TFC command and posing mods? Right now I keep having a problem where using poses and TFC seems to lock up my mouse and then TFC doesn't work. I am also using Equipping Overhaul, which I feel is somehow tied to the problem, though I don't know how. Anyway, just wondering if it's just me or if anyone else has had similar issues? Thanks in advance. Now I am going to play a different game that doesn't instigate so much anger :P

I don't think TFC is meant to be used with posing mods, when it is already active. which means, you do the pose, then you use tfc, and you release tfc again after you're done and everything should be fine.
With animations that are one time only, you can use TFC 1, if you found the perfect moment, as TFC 1 freezes the whole scene completely just hwere it is when you opened your console.
As Kuschel said, the mouse seems to deny any input...
I have these problems not often and I think the posers are not the (main) cause.
The last time I run into this, I only take a shot in front of a cave exit without any pose. After getting out, the problem occurs.
Until now I did´nt know the EPC command, so I can´t say if this fixes it. I just save on a new slot, exit and restart the game.
Everything works fine, no consequences. Probably to short time between consolecommand and new cell loading if that makes a difference...?
Maybe it helps a bit, even if I dont use Equipment Overhaul
I do prefer TFC 1, but sometimes TFC is the right choice depending on what and how I am trying to capture for a screenshot.
I feel like EO is not the root of the issue, but I also feel that EO makes the issue happen more often. I don't have anyway to prove that, but it's just what my perspective is.
In my case, a certain posing mod causes scriptlags and stuff until the game crashes in the end if I Overdo it with changing poses, all the others work just fine. I don't care that much, because if you know that, you can easily avoid that. Said mod almost instantly freezes the camera, no matter what, so I don't know if it really needs another mod in combination for it or not.
What I know is, that I had a mod that did freeze my mousebuttons every time. Reloading the save doesn't help, I had to completely relaunch the game each time, because if you can't draw your weapon / magic and can't attack well... it's pointless to play on.
Sadly I can't remember which one that was - The only thing I know is that it never happened again after an update of said mod. (Might have been SoS, but I'm really not sure anymore, my modlist is so damn long and has been merged more than just a few times... )
Another thing might be the general load order. I keep my mods grouped one after another unless the description doesn't say otherwise. I only ran LOOT once, which threw everything unconflicting in an alphabetical order. I had to change that again... >.<° Guess that's just a personal flaw, but I need it organized, and well, the camera freezing went down to a minimum in the end. IN 3 of 4 cases it's my own fault when it happens, because I just can't keep my fingers off certain keys out of habit while in TFC mode.
Trying to track down the very reason to a problem can be a frustrating quest indeed, and although I don't have much advise to offer in the matter, what little information I can give might narrow it down a bit. So, I'm using Equipping Overhaul and I have never faced this issue you're mentioning, thought I should just say this in case you suspect the overhaul mod.
Now, I very rarely play with FNIS activated at all on the other hand. I simply use it only for specific "posing sets", since I want my save files to be clear of any FNIS behaviour. It's not much to go on, but Equipping Overhaul together with posing works for me at least...
I do hope you find the root to this problem!
But, for screen shooting I use Screenshot Assist which is available here and even that can be quite glitchy. although I have found it only happens on rare occasions in my game.
The only thing I have to set in console when using this mod is the FOV, the rest is done by the hotkeys assigned by the mod itself, so it might be worth a look?
I always make a savegame first in case I get a hang up using the poses (I am using all the ones that you have mentioned) and I'm sure you do the same.
Sorry if I've mentioned the obvious and nice image, by the way.
Better Free Camera http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78389/? is a good mod and it's MCM configurable too so you can have hotkeys for tfc and tfc1
ScreenshotPad http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69120/? (also MCM configurable) is really good for placing your characters in the right spot for your shots. I like to use it to turn my character around 180 degrees and then equip a spell or a weapon. It allows me to see just how the light and shadow is going to act on the character's body.
I don't use Equipping Overhaul so I can't say how it interacts with these mods, but there doesn't seem to be a conflict between the two I mentioned above. I use to experience the tfc camera/mouse lock up quite a bit but it seems to have pretty much become a thing of the past now that I'm doing this.
Hope you're able to find a solution to this problem, and if you find anything really cool out there I hope you'll share it!
Good Luck!
Did you try outright uninstalling EO to see if it's the issue? I had it installed for a while and didn't experience any problems, but that was a while back and I wasn't using it very heavily. I ended up uninstalling it because its "geared up" functionality was buggy.
Another thing to try when the mouse locks up is "enableplayercontrols" in the console, but if a mod's script is locking the controls, unlocking them manually could cause bad things to happen.
That is strange, though. If it were a script causing the issue, EPC should fix it; I was trying to get Realistic Movement working tonight, and all it'd do is lock my controls. EPC "fixed" that (though the mod itself refuses to work for me).
Do you have any mods that offer camera control/customization?
Another few commands to try and see if they do anything:
animcam (toggles spinny/zoomy camera)
s1st (show first person, I forget if this shows the model or changes the camera mode)
pushactoraway 14 1 (for giggles, and see if the camera follows you)
player.tai (doubtful)
Hope that helps Rulwen! Nice piccy!
