About this image

The Horse that is not alive but even seems dead, appears in  its agony suspended in amazement dimension. The amazement of those who, having gone through the devastation of war, ending the race in no place, but not the nothingness, but a space that the human mind has not been able to imagine. This horse carries the fear, despair, tragedy, and the allegory for a springtime that knows how to be cruel.

I think you captured the horse's feeling very well with your description.

Brutal capture, outstanding use of words... Great work, (More so with your deep thoughts about the devastation the war brings.. )

Fabrizio... you are a poetic soul... I only endorsed the pic, because of the deeply thought behind it... but I also tell you, I don't like it... you are right... war is everywhere... and that's the real tragody... and that's why I hide in this place... in a game... in a forum, where we can do funny and lovely things... forget all this brutal reality... where soldiers killing human... men, women... children... where people lost their homes traveling around to find peace again, hated by people who are too stupid to understand what grace of charity meens... what help means...a world where people forget what respect for each other means... I do so, because I'm tired to think about all this cruel... tired to cry about all this injustice...
But I accept your feelings about all this... and I hope you can also accept mine...

You must have war on your mind today, Farvat. I see the tragedy of war here, even if there are no soldiers. This shot does show the cruelty of men who would command others to fight, for causes like "for our nations security" or "in the name of independence". A "Acceptable casualty" in the minds of the ones who give the commands.

It's hard not to have the war in mind when its effects are reflected almost everywhere. The theme is definitely an existential suffering, and the tower in the background, a symbol of the tower of babel, that is the human attempt to deify through civilization. Not only civilization in this sense is a failure, but the ruin and death that surrounds it shows that its purpose is completely senseless and tragic. So much tragic that to remove the theme of this image in a discussion became a discussion about chocolate and its harmfulness to the dogs.
I thank you very much for being the only one to have addressed the issue in a fully appropriate way. Moreover, despite the user's age it is still high on average, often people stay here to get away from reality to live in a fantasy world. of various kinds, now more erotic than anything else.

I almost always enjoy your posts and the comments they provoke even if I do not engage myself. And it is so true about the fantasy we retire to here, it is a rich environment on the Nexus, full of others thoughts and dreams. I believe if erotic, that is just human nature, although I, like you, try to keep my own in firm control.

That look on his face, reminds me of my dog looking at me when I just ate the last piece of chocolate and she didn't get any.

Chocolate is a kind balm that soothes the aching void often represented by a lack of love. If we want to transfer all on an existential level, the last piece of chocolate shown sadistically but then denied, it is what life does often with us. It deceives us and leaves us like this horse to agonize in the ruins of our shattered dreams.
