The last was my wallpaper for a few days and really like it - will be using it again. I only just changed it yesterday to a new favorite shot of my FO4 character, Wolf Steelson:
Just because I like his cowboy hat and Dogmeat at his side. Its a dark shot as it was night time but full-sized can see more detail.
He is also pretty beefy like all my men
I have never had a main character (Wolf here will be my 4th and last for Skyrim) with war paint. But as I explained to Kayol I really felt his face felt off. Wolf, in the character creation interface, was clearly telling me in no uncertain terms that he was incomplete. That he needed something to be finished properly (i.e. my unconscious or subconscious that was behind my inspiration, wasn't happy and was trying to tell me something). I needed something to bring out his wild animal nature, to make him a bit more fierce and intense. Also something to balance his smaller eyes - they are my favorite eye choice in Skyrim but they are also smaller than the other ones. It worked on Grim as he had no hair but I found the longer hair on this guy and his big eyebrows were over-shadowing the smaller eyes making them seem even smaller - so the war paint helps to add another focus around the eyes that to me made them blend in better with his overall look.
That being said I have a picture I might upload, before the war paint, that is super-sexy you might like - if I remember will do that tonight and link to it in the comments here.
I prefer the slightly darker red warpaint but the problem is that I am using a dark skin tone (slider #4 and I normally use position #2 - so 4 shades darker than the "whitest" skin tone) and the darker warpaint was getting lost somewhat (especially with the two main ENB's I use - they can really change how it looks). I may tweak the saturation levels on the DDS file myself though - something on my "to do" list for this character I am saving for the weekend.
He did survive the dragon fight and have just a couple of shots I will post later of him celebrating at the tavern with his buddy Little Grim (his wolf companion who is named after my own dog in real life - Grimwolf although everybody in the neighborhood just calls him Grim).
I also made a world for Grim, Erik, Wolfgar, Fenris, Hircine, Arnbjorn, Lucia, and Eir that will be for stories when/if I find the time to work on that. For now just enjoying playing very casually. Work is just so intense right now I just have very little time and energy on the weekends for much else besides chores, playing with my dog, and relaxing.
How much more difficulty have you added?
So Fenris Wolf has become a follower and will be in a separate save game I created with Grim, Erik, and Wolfgar (along with a few others like Hircine, Arnbjorn, Eir, and Lucia as I want to do stories with them at some point ... time and mood willing).
That game will be writing only and just a play ground. Grim did everything in Skyrim so I don't really have any desire to keep playing him. So instead Skyrim is where he just lives and guards from the Thalmor and threats from Oblivion in his role as Grim-Fenrir. But I did want to write about his father in Skyrim, Erik being his champion, and even Grim and Wolfgar doing things. So just made their own game.
Wolf Bearclaw is a new character and more a private character to just play the game with. His background is up in the air at the moment - keeping it vague till I am positive he will last. He did finish the dragon last night and so I am getting more confident he is the one.
Anyways, he reminds me a bit of Fenn and Grim. All your characters have something in common: Black hair, muscular body and amber (?) eyes, which is not bad of course!
Well introduce may not be the best word perhaps. More like I am just sharing iterations of me trying to create a new main character - which is always a very time consuming and somewhat emotional task for me as my main character is always a reflection of me in the game with some special twist or focus - but you can read my replies to Ems60 and Diotima for details if interested.
I consider the war paint more like a tattoo and a tribal thing, or statement, so him wearing it most of the time doesn't bother me. True he may wash it off from time to time but would probably wear it while adventuring or the like. For now it is war paint so it will be lore friendly for me to change or remove it. If I still really like it after playing with him for a long time then I will probably have it become a tattoo and a more permanent thing.
A muscular body is a given for all my characters although some will be athletic and slimmer build while others will be more bulky and brawny - but I like my characters to be in excellent physical shape as I am the same way in real life (or was till I got too old to keep it up at the same level) and I admire people who take good care of their bodies.
My favorite hair color is deep black and my favorite eye color is green - almost all my characters have black hair and green eyes (and usually a darker more middle-east or Mediterranean skin color) but wolf-amber colored eyes are a very close second favorite tied with green - depends a bit on the character. In real life I have medium brown hair and very deep blue eyes. I love blue eyes but given a choice I go for the green or amber.
All my characters also tend to have large square powerful chins and bone structure which tends to make them look and feel similar.
Yes, people who take care of their bodies must be respected. But you have to keep in mind that some people are not "gifted" with a strong body and are just unable to keep themself healthy ( lack of money for good food). I am very pleased with my body at the moment ( 2m tall), but I fear a little bit that I could damage my joints if I would work out alot.
I just try to stay under 100 kg by doing push-ups and jogging with my dog
Being fit doesn't require a lot of money - food is the main cost. But I know it is not always easy finding good food to buy that is affordable.
May have more detail on him in the weeks to come. Will see how it goes
He is handsome, but in a very special, barbarian way.
Love the first image in the description, and who is it in the second image?
Can i believe my eyes?
Is it Wolfgar, maybe with another name now?
Oh my, how long has it been that i fell in love with his spaghetti legs
It will be confusing for most since my character Grimulfr Fenrirson has his wolf half-brother named Wolfgar (which is the name of my previous GSD who passed away just over 5 years ago and had bad legs all his life - so I wanted to let him be a big, brave, and strong wolf in the world of Skyrim - which is why I named Grim's half-brother Wolfgar).
In short Grim has a wolf named Wolfgar and Wolf has a wolf named Grim
