I'm with Edrelle..such a shame we missed the scene with Dar'Akshara and Ulfric and how she convinced him haha...must of been quite priceless !
Seems like it is a favor or a favor..though this time around, the favor benefits Skyrim as a whole ! ..and yeah...easier to steal from nobles then to steal from dragons hehe

Interesting meeting you described at the start, nicely and fluently written,.. Also enjoyed, what black maid wrote also,.. The playfull moments between edrelle and Dimitri ,.. It is a very convincing and Nice couple,... Very Nice chapter,.. Enjoyed it,..
I am glad you liked my description of that meeting among Edrelle's dreams and the moments between Edrelle and Dimitri. It is a very peaceful chapter, when all friends come together with a good meal, speaking about the last happenings, continuing their friendship, getting new clothes....so you closed the chapter of the last adventures and prepare us for the next one....climbing to Hight Hrothgar?

With all the traveling and battle on their path they needed a few peaceful days to enjoy each other's company, to have time to speak of other things than the task ahead. One adventure has indeed ended but another follows closely, High Hrothgar awaits

The scene of Edrelle reading her letter while being distracted by Dimitri was endearing and shows the level of affection between them. Her mother seems almost as much of a mystery as that of Kyne's help and fondness for her. It also makes me wonder if the arrogant thief, if he lives, as the assistance of a darker god or Prince. Two pawns on the chessboard so to speak.
Enjoyed the time of rest described in the story as friends got caught up with each other, good food shared among all, new outfits (and Edrelle does look good in that), and stocked on supplies. The images also complimented the story nicely - added some extra visual detail to what you had described in the story.
A few more mysterious solved and as one adventure ends so a new one begins - to High Hrothgar it seems next
Whenever things are calmer in the tale I like to take that opportunity to show that affection between them in that playfulness of theirs, they would not let me do otherwise I think ;-) There is certainly a slightly mysterious side to her mother, a few tales of her adventures that Edrelle has not heard. The arrogant thief will not trouble her again but what exactly happened to him is something to wonder, perhaps there is some intervention from some entity.
I am happy you enjoyed how I describe their time resting and discussing while sharing a meal as well as Edrelle's new outfit. Glad the images were a nice accompaniment to my words, that they added a little detail.
They did find many answers on their trek along the snowy shore - the great peak and the Dragonborn do await them ahead on their path
But I'm almost certain that there will more than a few that would rather keep the War raging and are not content with letting the Peace Talks go through without at least trying to alter the outcome or even completely negate them. It seems to me that Edrelle and her; growing; team of friends are the best choice to try and prevent that from happening.
Happy to see that all of them still stand together as one; and that they found some time to relax before heading out again; though I assume they could have had even more luck with a more friendly town in a warmer climate
Very well written part; and quite fitting images to go along - I do like your choice of new armor for Edrelle aswell as the Dress she was wearing in her dream-state conversation with what seems to be Kynareth
The arrogant thief is indeed not the only one with an interest in manipulating the peace talks, all those profiting on the chaos of that war are none too happy about a possible truce. Edrelle and her team do have skills well suited to finding those scheming in the shadows, something Akhaz'iir knows well.
They are a very close group and get closer with every adventure, they were quite happy to have that time to rest with Edrelle needing to recover from her wound. Warmer people might have made their respite a little more enjoyable that is true
