time to work on mods is ,as always, almost nothing... found a couple of hour for wood and leather today

    Oh me, oh my! This looks wonderful, the detail, the design... Yeah it's definitely Cabal all right. This looks epically cool in all proportions... But lets be honest, could we all expect less, nah of course not. Bravo Cabal! You're real gem in the modding community, it's always nice too see more of your work.

      thanks a lot zjamz, it's nothing spectacular at the moment , just started. in game should be a good weap but not too powerfull,let's say good for steelplate tier...just more rustic

    Really beatiful sword, very nice texture so far and metal is looking great with just the cavity, love the hammered metal between the engravings, nice touch! and pommel is just amazing. I see you changed the crossguard from your last zbrush shot, good decision, not that the other one looked bad (not at all) but i think this one looks a lot better. And with the new engraving it even fits into skyrim unlike most swords out there, so what else could anyone ask?

    When i first saw the handle with the darker ring above the leather what i thought is that it was missing a metal ring there like the one below, i'd personally either add a ring there or remove the shadow since at the moment it looks like a crevice without purpose. And from both options i'd say remove it since "cutting" the handle in half with a metallic thing might do more bad than good.

    Anyway, just my first thought, no need to change it, it doesn't make it less amazing and might be a pain to change properly at this stage.

    Can't wait to see it ingame

      hoy Frank! thanks a lot...yep the idea was to insert a piece of rope in the center of handle but seems a lot "forced" when applied on lowpoly wich is barely a cylinder.I'd probably just remove that shadow and see how it comes along...or, in case, is not a complicate tweak on the normal map, just unhortodox. ....'till it works...

      thank you Nat, pommel is sculpted as concept, i did not make a proper hard surface thing,retopologizing and subdividing...kind of very sloppy approacch , but worked...and i left it as it was , just adapted a lowpoly mesh to host the normal map bake, i'm glad you like it

      thank you... and true, is better than nothing, still a little frustrating to start something, stop, to come back on it 2 weeks later just to find that you do not like the work done anymore. but yep... much better than nothing

      yep...rest is just normal, occlusion and tragic a color shift on the ndo2 cavity ...seams everywhere , hope to work on metal tomorrow or at least in the week end
