Thanks - the Retching Netch has become their local favorite ... probably because its the only option at the moment

Great and very intriguing looking teaser! I would sure look forward to read the story. Also wonderful shots of lads in Solstheim, so great to see Grim, Erik, Losti and Avrein on adventure together and looking at smiling Avrein is a treat too!

Thanks Nataly! Losti is a very good influence on Avrein - he seems to smile a lot more when the lusty Daedra is around (seriously, in-game they seem to have complimentary AI or something - they seem to stick together for some reason - maybe because I have them both set as mages for their AI).

Got three chapters in the works as they all tie together. All the images are done as well. Just need to find the time to sit and write!

I think the Inns in Ravenrock are not going to be a quiet place at present, but could be a cool place to head for a bit of fun.

I like that dreamlike never ending corridor of the main shot a good use of a high FOV

Thanks Corfus - Grim is running from something but doesn't seem to be getting anywhere!

I miss the forests but I have Kavel playing in Falkreath area at the moment so it works out.

Thanks! I haven't written anything in over a week so that should help :-)

4 day weekend this weekend though so I sure hope I get at least one chapter out!

It is good to hear you are enjoying adventuring in Solstheim, I have yet to get even close to finishing the quests on that island, though the quests I did do were quite fun and the look of the place makes me nostalgic about Morrowind. That main shot has a foreboding and surreal feeling to it with that unusual perspective and the deep shadows in that hall, a great teaser set, Jonathan

I always get nostalgic when they start playing the Morrowind music - love that tune. Morrowind is one of my favorite games although I have not played it in ages - played the heck out of it when it came out though.

The teaser shot hints at a lot of things - like how it came out. Hopefully the story that goes with it will find its way to Nexus soon :) Thank you for the comment Alexi!

wow, the main shot is superb! I suppose you used a very high FOV to obtain that effect! I'm not able at all to take screenshots with a FOV higher than 80/85! Need a lot of patience to find the correct angle of view or everything will be a bit deformed...

Thanks Sim! I used something like 150 I think. It was done on purpose and the deformity of the image was actually intended - I used the high FOV explicitly to get the deformity of the image being displayed. Why I did that will become apparent when the story comes out.

In general I play my game at FOV 65. I tend to do landscape/wide shots at FOV 80 (any higher and it gets distorted as you said). Close ups I tend to do at 40-45 and extreme close-ups I do at 20-25.

same here, usually I play Skyrim at FOV 60/65...then I switch to 75 just when I need to do landscape shots!
Anyway, the FOV command is surely my favourite as well as "tfc 1" and "tcl"

Sim, u can use ''Customizable Camera'' http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37347/?
and set FOV as you like. I never use console for FOV, only Customizable Camera.

      Anyway, nice shots Jonathan

yeah I know Duci, but with CC you need to change it everytime, using MCM! I have that mod too and I prefer to work with the console commands when I need to do screenshots, it's more practice IMO!

BTW thanks for the link, you're always too generous when it comes to provide useful mods!!!

I don't think I could handle using a mod to change FOV (although other camera things might be nice). Takes a lot more time to open up the main menu, open up the MCM menu, get to the correct mod, get to the settings, change, save, back out of everything ... when in less than 2 secs you can type FOV X and hit return.

But I suppose it really depends how often you do it. I tend, at minimum, change FOV 3 times per scene when doing a screenshot or story shot. Normally when I am doing a screenshot (for any reason) I do a far, med, and close FOV to get a feel for the best perspective. Often times when trying to get just the right shot, with only the things I want in the scene, with a nice POV, I will change FOV 7 or 8 times. Even when just playing the game I often flick around between 55 and 70.

Main image looks like a dream. Very interesting effect going on there & I have yet to visit Solstheim on my current play through.

Thanks Avalos! There is a purpose behind the main image and how it looks but have to wait for the story to say why

It is a cool place especially for my first time doing it.
