Very beautiful character and story. For some reason I can't really hate the Forsworn after doing that quest in that mine (forgot what its called) in Markarth. Listing to the prisoners story's and that last story were that guy tells you about what the Nords did to his daughter really got to me.

I guess what I am saying is that when your home and the land of your people is taking away and your back is against the wall. you would do what ever it took to reclaim it. I am not saying there right because a lot of there methods are really barbaric. Like the killing of Innocents. In the end of there right too.

They just have a cruel why of retaking there home.

Indeed Fosworns resemble many expropriate indigenous peoples of their homeland and subjected to the oppression of the invaders, a tragic story and perennial. is really a people without peace. What a long and profound comment, Ronald!
      Really thank you!

I had forgotten to comment on this set as I saw it during lunch and mean to get back to it at dinner ... and had just remembered. I will put my fingers in my ears and close my eyes on the lines about Erik however :p

On the forsworn - I also like them but I never side with them because of the Hags. The hags are extremely anti-nature and as far as I can see in the game extremely evil. The fact that the forsworn follow them is the only reason I don't side with them. If they turned against the hags I would support them in their rebellion.

Course in my own lore I have a reason as to why the Hags exist and how the forsworn got corrupted by them ... but since this is you post won't get into that lol. Plus you have a very detailed and intricate reason for the Hags involvement with the forsworn as well as your over-arching story line that I recall from earlier stories, posts, and comments.

Lol Jonathan! As for Erik, I could make a homosexual, even after he discovers his true nature ...

I'd like to know your version instead of the relationship between Hagravens and Forsworns. As for me I am in line with that offered by the lore. Feolan the Red eagle to defend Reachmen from the imperial invasion, accepts the gift of dark briar becoming the first briarheart. The old hag hooded that tempts him she was not a simple Hagraven but Yaga the black witch, in person. The hagravens enter so in the Reachmen society, introducing their matriarchy and their dark cults, increasingly in opposition to the patriarchal power of the king. the great king Madanach conquest Markarth, also in order to affirm again the dominance of the king, over the power of Hagravens. But the setback does not last, because Yaga, became secret counselor of Ulfric, convinces him to accept the request for help of the Jarl of Markarth. Ulfric commits a massacre in the city, but always on the advice of the witch, instead of killing Madanach, he shuts him in the prison-mines. Madanach remains alive, but as a king in exile, whose influnce become increasingly blurred on Fosworns and Hagraven get so absolute power, thereby paving the way for the great ritual that will summon Alduin. The dragonborn freeing, Madanach, begins the process that will lead over time to revolt Fosworns, against hagravens. Process that will begin with the release of the Red Eagle from his curse. Holding his sword, Kartika, become Jarl of Markarth, will finally kick off the peace process between the Nords and Reachmen. Markarth with the blessing of the Empress Valeria Mede, will become an open city for the two cultures.

In their nature shamanic, the hagravens have a deep connection with Hircine, available through the coven of witches glenmoril who revere him directly even if in a distorted way. In Skydream however, Hircine is a cultural product, emerged among humans as a protector of hunters and shamans. The true creators of shapeshifters were Bosmer, with their Wild hunt, Y'ffre precedes Hircine, becoming revered even Valenwood, introduced by the imperial domination. The Bosmer most orthodox, do not worship Hircine denying even the existence.
The Hagravens, are the product of Yaga, creator of the shamanic process by which witches access to almost immortality. Of course Yaga the Witch, is a meta-divinity, incarnation of the program Kinmune, however, forced to play itself to the simulation. The hagravens, exist for the purpose of allowing through their cults, to allow the manifestation of Yaga, and allow it to operate physically in the world, in order to turn off the simulation and awaken the participants.

Very well written and grand images. I do need to ask about that hunched over creature that brings to mind the term "Ogre". I have never noticed the likes of it in Skyrim before, would you care to spin a tale about it in a sticky or an Edit?

The creature is named as a goblin, and thanks to Monster Mod is often among the Fosworns. My idea is that a "Hobgoblin" that is a stronger version of the goblin and beefier. Goblins often serve the hagravens, and defend the camps and support the Warrior groups of Forsworns. what unites the goblins to forsworns is their status of outcasts and persecuted. In my universe, Goblins in their many variations, are a Mer race, called "Galmer", but not recognized by the other elven races, the same way as orsimer and degenerated Falmer. Goblins whose main activity was that of life underground and mining, are persecuted and driven out to gain control of their caves and wealth they collect. Initially quite peaceful, They become more violent and aggressive eventually facilitate so their persecution.
The need to survive sees them so often to ally to that terrible Hagravens, often becoming so their small private armies.
Thank you for the comment friend!

I really liked the 3nd shot from the bottom , it has the feel of family, may they be a tough bunch still they stand close body language relaxed but ready at a seconds notice to rally behind Breyun. Was a surprise to read of Erik but can see him falling in love with a woman like this, strong yet still looking for her place. Wonderful introduction

Breyun is born from the very beginning as a partner of Erik. They got to know each child and Breyun establishes with him a secret relationship, which brings together two ethnic groups in conflict. And a desperate love and opposed by many unfortunate events, but because of this remains strong, despite the fate often will keep them away.
The images of the group, also represent strong authorities, which Breyun exercises as Madanach daughter, and that's why the Hagravens fear her, as a potential rival to their power.
thank you friend for another great comment!
