"Damn it! My first week as a guard and things couldn't get more pleasant. First, that old hag (Maven) scolded me at the town square because I had the "audacity" of staring her, right in the eyes. Next, that young fellow Shadr asked for my  help because  he was being threatened by a slicker called Sapphire. When I was about to confront her, another guard told me to look the other way and move along. What in Oblivion was that?! Now I was set to patrol the roads with a few comrades and I was told to watch my tongue and learn to look the other way while in town. For now, so be it! But outside the city walls, some thugs and "guard-thugs" will learn not to cross us!"
