Heh heh, now to get caught up.
Thanks buddy!
The werebear is massive, is the bear at is adult size?
Questions...
The big black bear is Kavel Bloodmoon, the main character in my newest book I just started about two weeks ago (have two chapters done so far). He will be a werebear. In these shots I am trying out the new werebear textures as I wanted to get his bear form set. Since Kavel has black hair and green eyes in human form I picked the black grizzly bear with green eyes for his bear form.
The little bear is Rumper, a bear cub that Kavel finds while out in the woods one day (it will be a future story - haven't gotten to it yet). They become best friends.
I made Rumper in the CK. He is basically a smaller scaled bear with some changes to his facial expression to make him look just a little more cub like. So he is not adult size in the shot. That being said Kavel is a large werebear to begin with.
but if the two should play you take cover.
Just today I was looking for some enb, something I have on my ''to do list'' , I saw this one Shards of Oblivion, it uses .221 binary, right? I just hope to get at least 40 fps with it.
Is it more demanding than Hircine and others GS enb's, or is it the same performance?
Anyway, I will give it a try soon, really like how it looks
262 you see some changes due to things Boris did with the binaries. I consider 262 the worst of the bunch so I did not keep that version. 269 has all the new effects and runs well but the changes in the binary has altered the look. Whether for better or worse depends on personal preference. I tend to like 221/236 look best.
Anyhow 221 for Shards has only one quality setting but it is probably a little less demanding since less effects going on. On the other hand it doesn't have some of the optimizations in the new binary. I would say try it and send me a PM if you want some help improving performance without hurting the visuals too much.
I don't know what you would get for FPS as FPS is *VERY* machine and set up specific. Resolution of your monitor alone is probably the biggest number one factor. Then your mods, textures, scripts, video card, INI files, etc. all come into play.
I always tweak presets I manage with a 28-32 FPS goal for exteriors and 38+ for interiors based on the quality preset. Performance I don't use but when testing it I get 10-15 fps boost.
In reality, for my own game, I get about 24 average FPS outside (thanks to my ultra intensive grass settings) and about 40-45 for interiors.
Still, there are more of your presets I haven't tried yet, except Hircine. One by one, all in time.
Hircine is installed today, again, don't know what I did, but it runs at solid 35-40 fps outside, 59 (locked) fps inside. Took some quick shots today, lucky me, still wet outside and rainy, my eyes working better, I've played my game finally
Downloading now Shards of Oblivion, will send some screens today or tomorrow.
I won't change anything about the settings, except enb Dof, I always disable that one, because I'm using Dynavision. That way, I save more performance for higher quality AO.
But if I need any help, I'll send you a PM. Many many thanks Jonathan
