Great work
Thanks for the comment and checking out the story BM!
Was nice to see Akrioh and Serana getting along so well, always felt it was a shame she never had someone who cared for her after what Balls did to her. Maybe they will become better friends with time, now that would be so very interesting. Was also nice to see Serana and Aela make peace, maybe they will not be going out hunting together but at least they know the other is not all bad in each others eyes.
Lol and Losti well at least in the end get a girl, a lusty bard at that, wonder what songs she will be singing the next night lol.......
I so enjoyed the dance between Grim and Erik and to see the whole game so relaxed finally , they have been though so much.....they now deserve some time to just enjoy the life they just earned by kicking Balls balls so to speak hehe.........
Thank you so much for the nod to Ambrosia and Stragon, she had been wondering who in heck was breaking up the furniture in the next room all night...... she had commented to Stragon the next morning as they were leaving she wished they had time to see just who the love birds in the next room had been as they sure sounded like they were having a amazing time........
Wonderful shots, and so happy to see this relaxing story for the boys and all the group........ and little Wolfie seems to be having a great time, treats for him as he was the save the day wolf...... I think my favorite shot is the title shot, just so shows how much each means to the other and the wonderful time had by all
I had recalled mention of Ambrosia and Stragon at the Skeever enjoying some down time of their own so thought it would be nice to give them a wink while Grim and his pack were downstairs having their own good time.
Losti did have some fun - he doesn't mind females as long as they are Priestesses of Dibella, who make him shudder. He tends to prefer the big guys (more energy to feed on) but Lisette was very accommodating. His feeding is also mostly harmless (he only ages his partner if he draws too much energy; otherwise they are just really, really tired afterwards). He also gives something back - good sex and a feeling of blissful happiness that lasts for days.
I also liked the title shot - which I picked as it had the best relaxed feeling with everyone just hanging out and Grim being all friendly and his typical self :-)
My favorite part was poor Losti hitting on Hircine! "one did not simply hit upon the Lord of the Hunt"
Love that line!!! It was all Hircine could do to keep a straight face.
I enjoyed seeing Serana and Akrioh having a nice time. Really wonder what her thoughts were when she looked at Akrioh in their goodbyes.
Nice that Aela and Serana have an understanding, even if Serana won't be stopping by to "hang out"
Fantastic work my friend! What a fun set!
I wanted to do a bit more between Losti and Hircine but that was all I could come up with at the time. In my head I had the whole exchange a bit more played out. Just found the idea amusing as I knew Losti would be attracted to him. So not knowing who he was ... Well in Oblivion the lower Daedras are very respectful of the Princes I believe so hitting on one - probably a capital offense (depending on the Prince I suppose).
Glad you enjoyed the banter and story!
Was nice to see Erik and Grim share a dance to the notes of Lisette's lute, having that time for a little tenderness and fun. Looks like Losti was not as successful in finding a dance partner, Serana turning around to look for Akrioh as he tried to ask her to dance. Was endearing that smile that Akrioh and Serana shared as she looked over at him resting his feet in the company of Wolfgar, that friendship between them clear to see. It is good that Serana help back her snarky words when speaking to Serana, understanding the pain she had gone through at the hands of Despair. Was great to see them admit to each other than were-beast and vampire where not all bad, Serana sure learned some good things in working with Grim that make her get along a little better with the huntress.
That moment where Grim shared kind words with those who helped in the fight against Despair was heartwarming and I like how Grim joked about Serana carrying his big ass on the balcony. That goodby between Serana and Akrioh made me smile as did that little conversation between Grim and Erik before they headed off to their room. A wonderful warm chapter, Jonathan
I was trying to keep my latest few stories more text light and focused on images, if only because I want to get back to the style of writing I enjoy a bit more. So I am happy to see that what I did write still came across okay. It was a party so I wanted the banter light hearted and playful ... although I do understand many parties tend to have very serious undertones, especially among royalty and nobility. Still this was a small victory party among friends so I expected it to be a lot more casual and friendly.
As you noted I also spent some time to update folks on the status of some key relationships - such as Serana and Akrioh as well as Serana and Aela. It was also nice to work Losti into the mix, especially in his human form as that is the form he will probably have when with the gang in public.
Thanks again for the comment and glad you enjoyed this warm and fuzzy chapter
Jonathan, here the audience falls: More dragons, more naked women, more boobs! In addition we also have some ad space: Grim turns and says ... "When I rest after another great adventure, I always drink Mead Black-Briar, simply the best!"
In short, a disaster
*takes notes - more dragons, bare-chested well-endowed women, more fights! *
@AoK - You have your formula now Aok you should be all set to entice more people to follow your stories
Akrioh and Serana....that should be interesting. It was also good to see her and Aela have some common ground and respect for one another.
It is so nice to see lads just having good time after all dangers and battles they have encountered. Wolfgar sure getting many treats these days... his exchange with Erik was very amusing one! Also I've enjoyed Grim's observations of Akrioh and Serana and their communication which will undoubtedly cause Sam to tease Seran to no end! But Serana preferring Akrioh over Losti in dance sure shows a lot!
And speaking of Losti... he sure did a sort of payback for his prank over Grim and Sandy in College, so no one warned him not to hit on Daedric Prince of the Hunt... that was hilarious... poor Losti, being scarred like that! But hopefully with lovely Lisette he might forget about this!
also I've enjoyed the awkward but sweet scene between Aela and Serana... these two will never be friends like Dannee with Serana, but they sure have reached new understanding and acceptance with each other.
Great story, very heartwarming and I would look forward to see the next chapter!
Glad you enjoyed what little insight between the various people at the party I was able to give. I figure Grim is going to be wondering just what is going on as the last he recalls Akrioh and Serana were like fire and ice. I expect Serana would prefer a dance with her "friend" Akrioh over the lustful Daedra any time ... although I think it was more for show as I expect she likes Losti well enough.
I figure Aela and Serana have a small window open between them now and understand each other a little better. One thing I forgot to add, that I wish I had remembered, was a short exchange about Serana's powers. Aela is one of the few who understands her desire to keep her powers ... as Aela also enjoys her "gift" from Hircine - although grants Hircine's gift giving is a bit better than the way Molag does it. Although I suppose in pure lore both are pretty violent. Perhaps some other time I will be able to mention it.
Thanks again for the nice comment and glad you liked it!
I think casual alcoholism was probably a common theme of the old days to begin with. Water was often not safe to drink and considering the life they led drinking was one of the few pleasures they had.
While this was not my forte to write I did enjoy the screenshots I managed to get and some of the banter I was able to do. Glad you enjoyed the story and shots. Thanks very much for the comment!
