genius.......... a way to bring about the beginnings of Losti and his continued transformations over time.
Will he travel his own path for Sanguine or continue to seek companionship with Grim? We can only guess.
But I am sure the paths will cross time and time again

Thanks Steven! My plans for Losti is as a bodyguard and companion for Avrien at the College of Winterhold. That is where he lives right now, along with Sandy, so its a happening place at the moment. I am sure we shall see more of Losti

A job really very deep! Losti really deserved a biography articulated, supported by beautiful images. I'm really excited to read it. A great journey of a character that starts from the undifferentiated, to make a true Bildungsroman in which finds himself.
Also notable is the section devoted to the lore and the explanation of the Daedra and its nature very useful for me. One of the things I appreciate most is the fact that the lore is always presented as an opinion, never as an absolute truth. Clearly this strategy was necessary for a setting that had to cross several games, thus leaving some flexibility.
I leave such decidedly dumbfounded that the Lore support, that Daedra are an exclusive product of Padomay. If Padomay is essentially "the change", Non-Being and Anu is "the Permanence", or Being, the Daedra can not be a pure product of padomay, must have a component of Anu within himself although minoritary. If a daedra, was pure change, pure non-being, would not have a stable form, a name, a skill, a stable place in which to reside, but would remain latent in the void without ever emerge from it as individuality. Only thanks to Anu, a daedra can acquire a stable form. This is not the path that runs Losti?
If Aedra have a stronger closeness to Anu and the daedra more to Padomay. But it 's philosophically inelegible to supports tihis interpretation of the Lore.

    Great work my friend!

Many thanks for checking out this story Fabrizio! I really wasn't sure what your reaction to it was going to be. I know I went and made Losti a "good" Daedra but to me it is relative. Lore says they cover all ranges in the human spectrum of good/evil ... in reality those can't really be applied to the Daedra ... but on a practical level the Daedra, and Princes, do show emotion and some morals/ethics in Lore (even if it is from a mortal perspective).

Lore is contradictory anyhow - they say they are alien and not understandable and yet all to often the Princes and Daedra act in very human ways with very human emotions. Guess that is just us projecting on them.

I really like your bit on the Daedra being unable to be pure Padomay blood and I agree with your reasoning. Perhaps it might be better if the lore said the Daedra were "Padomay inclined" while the Aedra were "Anu inclined" with perhaps more blood from one than the other.

Chaos needs a little order and Order needs a little chaos. Have you ever read the Saga of Recluse books by L.E. Modesitt, jr? http://www.lemodesittjr.com/the-books/saga-recluce/ Cool stuff.

Going to have to start this off by pointing out how much I love those magical purple tones. To be more on point, though, Losti's origins are quite fascinating! It's really great how you create and/or adapt so much lore for your characters and stories.

You can thank the Soul Cairn portal and Serenity ENB for those lovely tones :-) Glad you liked them. Seriously - that lighting was made for showing off Losti as it works so well with his blue skin and dark hair. Plus it has a strong night/evening theme which is fitting for this Greater Daedra of Lust.

That glimpse into Lotsi's origins was very interesting as was how you wrote in his perspective. Seems he had quite the difficult past being one that was out of place among those daedra that follow Molag, his nature much less dark than them, forcing him to be on he was not, to suffer at the hands of Molag's other servants. Grim certainly had a great influence on him with his nature both mortal and divine, that good of nature in his spirit, sharing something positive in an intimate moment, changing his path.

Lotsi found that power within him at the right moment, finding that he had an aura to fend off that of Despair, finding power he had long forgotten and drawing upon it. Was great to get a bit of a description of that battle with Despair through his eyes. The past did give him quite the determination to remain himself, having been made to act unlike himself for too long. It is good to see that he was able to escape that grasp of that oath to Molag, free to truly be himself and with the power to defend himself. A very interesting interlude, Jonathan

Many thanks Alexi for the nice comment about Losti's origins and his story. The photo shoot probably isn't your favorite type lol but hopefully you enjoyed the lore and story. I did a lot of reading on the Daedra (not just now but for many past stories as well) as I find them fascinating. Unlike the Aedra, who are remote and never really have any direct connection to the world, the Daedra are very much involved with the mortals. Based on the lore and discussions I read it seemed very possible that a situation like Losti's could occur.

He was obliterated once, almost (all he has is a few stray memories of his original self), and he fought long and hard to hold onto his sense of self and identity ... something precious in the world of the Daedra ... so he was determined to not loose it again if he could help it.

He is a good fighter - trained hard in most weapons (swords, daggers, ax) - but his real power is with magic and his own special abilities. He is pretty good at defending himself, especially against those of Molags realm.

      Glad you enjoyed the story!

Created by the pure blood of Padomay during its fight with Anu, this I had read I know somewhere in my search for info on Padomay.I did used to see Padomay and Anu as good and evil but really they were not either totally, as it was the fight over the love a woman that pulled what I consider brothers apart but I had a very hard time finding much info on either other then a few things here and there.

I often have wondered what Gods such as Padomay and Anu are to humans of the time, as they are not the Gods they serve, as it is the Princes most kneel too, creators only, like what the people of this time would consider God, or in the is their more to them, I have always wished that they had been more fleshed out, more info on them to better understand. lol sorry off in my own little world again .........

Amazing shots of the newest Greater Daedra, or should say the return of him. Interesting to find out how he came to be able to hold his own with Despair and in some ways this battle has been the making of him back to himself with out it he would have always been a servant to Balls. I do always enjoy your take on lore, and I do enjoy the lore part but think I enjoy more what you add to it and make it your own.

Thanks for the ramble - always enjoy those. I did a fair amount of reading on Padomay a long time back when I did the Unraveling story as I wanted to make sure I had Padomay (and its soul Sithis) and Anu.

They can be seen as chaos and order to some degree although the reality is more complex. It has to do with perfect stasis (nothing exists all all) as a state of purity which is what Padomay wishes to return to I believe (Farvat has the best grasp of this I think around here).

Sithis is about limits of which mortality is the ultimate limit (death). That is why the DB worships Sithis but they are only worship a small aspect of Sithis and incorrectly people assign Sithis solely with death and evil which isn't the case. On the other hand Sithis and Padamay want to return all to the void so they can have perfect stasis (peace?) which does mean the destruction of everything .. so from mortal perspective that is not desirable in most cases

I need to refresh my memory to explain correctly. Like many religious things it isn't always consistent or clearly spelled out. Some of the TES Lore sites have extensive information and discussions on it thought.

To me Anu is probably closest to a religion of a single god (possibly Padaomay would be the devil). The Aedra and Daedra are more like old religions - like the greeks and norse with their pantheons. Or you could say the "Dreamer" who made the Universe is the ultimate god.

From what I have read Padomay and Anu don't interact with mortals in any way and they are more "It" than anythng else - beyond comprehension.

I need to bring it down to human levels for stories though - to esoteric starts to make no sense

Me too as far as bring it down to human level why I gave Padomay a body, and did made sure never to show his face, as in my mind humans could not see / understand what he is ..... when Bruno and I worked on her ( Ambrosia ) back story when I invented her, she was part Padomay and part Anu, thus the good and evil she carries, was why I picked the Ning race created is the right word I think as never born, when I finished her child hood story will see some of the Anu but never him as he is for me more like light where as Padomay is like Balls to me , the pure evil we hold inside and in my mind evil has a body, its the darkness, the bump in the night, or the shadow under our bed.....but evil always has a face, where good is more light and love, things not seen just felt. I guess for me the Ning were more akin to Losti and Despair / created as Daedra are but in human form, also having free will, not bound to anyone or anything, not moral but not immoral either.

lol I know ramble again, but I always enjoy the thought that someone else understand that its more about what we can make it to be to suit us, using some of the lore but sometimes twisted to suit our chars. I think this love of the ramble is why I always read all the comments on yours, Steven, Jess, Nataly, Aok and others stories, I so enjoy reading what others take from each stories, give me insight in to them but also more insight into the char and the next story. I know I am a bit weird in that lol

Awesome interlude story and great lore about Losti and Daedra! Love the shots too, very hot stuff and they all make perfect addition to Manly Monday and covers in PlayDaedra magazine.

It was very interesting to read about Losti story, of how he had changed over the years, and what he has accomplished. I also greatly enjoyed the lore about Daedra. In a way Daedra like Losi before he ascended to more power have very limited choices, since almost every Lesser Dedra is bound to one of Princes. So far only few groups of Daedra Seducer remained master less (at least according to Battlespare game) and they were not respected for their desire to be free and serve who pays better. also in ESO game it was speculated that only in one place any Daedra can be killed permanently - the realm of Aedra, like Sovngarde... although even in ESO it was declared speculative theory. I am very happy to see how you posted comments about Daedra kids too... not common theme and it is very nice to see it addressed. As for Princes and their romances, Vaermina was officially in relationship with her human champion back in ESO, Nocturnal has a fascination and maybe romantic feelings for Archmage Hrormir (according to book Hrormir Song) and in shivering Isles it was confirmed that Prince of Madness engages not only in flings but real romances with mortals (Relmyna Verenim).

It was very fascinating to see Losti point of view towards things and how he survived Despair's influence. Losti apparently did not fit Coldharbor realm at all, since he is more like over and seducer not brutal rapist or sadistic torturer. Hope that with Sanguine he will feel better and put his talents and powers to good use also it is very interesting how Losti is an opposite of Despair with his aura of lust, joy and happiness which could play its role in the future, if they will ever meet again. I wonder what future holds for Losti too and I hope he will meet again with lads one day!

Appreciate the nice comment as well as the additional lore - I knew I should have sent you a PM while working on this post lol. I was having trouble digging up all the lore entries on romances. I tend to forget about checking ESO lore as I tend to see it as slightly more corrupted since it tends to pander to the MMO crowd. Still it is still elder scrolls lore so has to be considered valid and certainly useful.

Still seems that most of the romances and children are mortal/immortal pairings. Very few examples of Daedra/Daedra or Daedra/Aedra ... I think Meridia is an example of a Daedra/Aedra pairing? Meridia (originally known as Merid-Nunda) was believed to have been a Magne-Ge, a family of divine beings that fled to Aetherius soon after the creation of Mundus. For supposedly consorting with illicit spectra, she was cast out of Aetherius and took the mantle of a Daedric Prince. Magne-GE seems to be more Aedric to me as far as race but maybe not. I have Hircine and Kyne in my own lore of course but for official lore this seems the closer to that type of pairing.

Losti does have a future in Tamriel, most likely with Avrien although Losti is not exactly what I call the monogamous type when it comes to sex. However he is very loyal in friendship and Avrien could use that.

You are welcome! ESO lore can be very confusing, but following my habit of gathering Daedric lore info I came up with mentions Vaermina romance with her champion... she was stated to be even in love with him, since when Vestige killed him, she was furious.

As for Meridia, i read how for some she reminds of fallen angel. Looks like she was Aedra but became somehow corrupted by that association with illicit sphere (possibly necromancy, as one fan theory tells) that cost her to change and become a Daedra, so that is why she hates all undead with great passion and eradicates them. Or maybe she is indeed an offspring of Aedra and Daedra so that explains her complicated character and her less evil nature. interesting that Aedra were never stated ti be perfectly good, they are capable of both evil and good, since they came from mixed blood of Any and Padomay.

Very cool concept / explanation / backstory for Losti. As I was reading through and he was musing about his lust for life (and knowing he'd become a greater Daedra) I wondered if you'd make him the greater Daedra of Lust. Very fitting for ol blue I think! I'd like to see him, Grim and Erik share a drink around a campfire one night and er, ponder life and all its lusts

Aye I pretty much kept him to my original concept: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/509531/? (see below).

I just re-read my original post and I actually kept this story and the original very much in-line with each other. This story just adds a lot more detail to his origins and transcendence to Greater Daedra. The only tweak I needed in the original was to adjust the text to say his trials with Despair let him transcend to GD and that when he pledged to Sanquine he was "officially" recognized as a GD.

I am overly anal at times :p

I really wanted a positive/good based GD for a change. Lore indicates Daedra can cover all ranges of human morals so if there are so many evil ones it seems reasonable there could a few good ones (good and evil being relative mortal terms of course - Daedra are not so easily classified).

      >>>>>>>>>>>

      Name: Losti Happmunr
      Kyn: Xivilai Incubi
      Prince: Sanguine
      Title: Greater Daedra
Domain: Lust, Joy, Pleasure, Happiness, Sexual Desire

Abilities: While Losti has some darker instincts he overall represents the domain of joyful lust and pleasure. He emits a strong aura that can make most any sentient creature become overcome with an intense lust for something, to the point of it becoming an obsession; a lust for sex with someone (including himself), lust for an object, power, wealth, or most anything a person can have a desire for.

He is also a positive empath and can cause intense feelings of joy, pleasure, ecstasy, and happiness in any individual he focuses his will on.

Thanks Arnold - just like to always tie up loose plot lines and explain things. Plus it has been fun working with a character that is usually outside of my style.
