Despair in no hurry to have to lick more wounds it seems.. I wouldn't be surprised if her footprints left steaming marks in the snow and ice that resemble a goat's passing. Probably smells that way too.
Was so ready to see Dire have the good doctor by the throat..................... then.... oh what the hell is going on with the animal cruelty lately......
Always a pleasure to see the girls and read your stories.. most have a much more enjoyable cliffhanger however......
Apologies for the "Dire situation" Working on the answer to that cliffhanger now. Unfortunately it is also "Tax time" here so trying to get that done also. I expect you can guess which I would prefer to be spending my time on!

I loved how Big Al protected his sweet little Ripp from Despair and her "charms"....very chivalrous of him, and how Garm stopped Silke's Despair-induced madness, thus: 'foil-age' on Molag Bal's B1#ch!

I loved when Alduin stepped up and when he turned and was oh no step off my girl kind of thing, was well now about damn time we saw the real Alduin step up, can only hide true nature so long , and it was good to see he did it for to protect Ripp and Silke. You go Alduin, wonders if Despair would want to tangle with the world eater, hmmmmmmmm but not now , her master has not told her too.
I do wonder what Balls wants with Ripp, nothing good that is for sure.
Now really Dire, I do not think so , get back here and fix him.......... you can not kill him off he is not even mortal damn it ........Really.... prune face and his band of misfits need to back off up off the girls, oh is DD gonna flip when he hears of this, be Thalmor bits all over Skyrim and now they have Alduin, oh this could be fun ..........

Well minus the tense and dramatic ending (and don't look at me I published part 2 on the same day :p ) this was simply awesome work. Okay so was the ending but I am trying to discourage that behavior lol.
You made Despair such a complete and utter b&@*$! I loved it. So was just so mean and nasty. Even if she had doubts she hid it all behind her arrogant and very condescending smile. Oh she is up to no good that is clear! Alduin going all dragon on her! Lol that was so funny. A strange parallel to Dannee's own protective personality. I wonder how Ripp will feel about someone being so possessive over her. Some people like that actually (within limits). Erik actually rather enjoys it from Grim.
I would say Alduin could take her down. Alduin is the World-Eater and his soul comes from Akatosh - Alduin is a PRIMAL entity . He may not be a prince but I would certainly see him higher up in the food chain then a Greater Daedra. Still Stormbringer ... one damn nasty sword. Plus Alduin has some rather human emotions now and that may make him more susceptible to manipulation. Still ... world eater.
Fantastic shots as well - your images are looking great. Keep up the nice work and looking forward to the next chapter VERY MUCH!!!

I think both Alduin and Despair knew that however that fight might end, it's unlikely either would be unharmed. And like you I wanted to be true to Lia's wonderful character. Also I don't think Despair is finished with this just yet.
Will be a while before I get the next set out (Tax time as I'm sure you know)
but things may not be as dire as they seem
First, I am so happy that Selina was saved and by Garm! She walked in great danger, facing off Despair like that but that doesn't seem like Selina's tactic, for she avoids direct fight, knowing she is not super Girl to tackle Despair like this. In fact Selina has very tactical mind, much like Despair herself, so I am very curious about reasons that made Selina abandon her cautious approach and have guts to try shoo away Despair... thankfully nothing drastic has happened but if Selina returns to the Isles, she might do a lot of explanations and most likely some yelling from her Prince since her daring move was like a suicidal attempt, since Despair nearly killed her by Silke.
Despair vs Alduin... it was very cool! And I would bet on World Eater if they took a fight, after all if he can destroy the whole world, he can destroy one Greater Daedra and given how Despair did retreat facing him was not in her plans... she needs to sway Silke and Ripp and not be Alduin's opponent in this. hopefully Alduin's words would reach Ripp and she would ever accept Molag Bal offer. Alduin looked here so dominant and confident... I even begin to like him if he continues to think more about his love safety then world domination. I wonder how events will unfold further, since i bet Paarthurnax and Alduin has a lot to discuss! And Selina might do some explaining too, especially about her boldness to face Despair.
And on the other side we have poor Dire and girls who got into ambush... poor Dire and damned Dr. Liche seems to be unkillable! Hopefully he will reach Garm despite his wounds and at least warn him! Also it would be very sad if girls will be left with Thalmor... I can only imagine what horrors might await for then there.

Yes very dangerous place for dear Selina. Perhaps she was one of the reasons that Garm made a point of being there.

He He, Ripp has been trying to tell Alduin about his breath problem, but doesn't want to hurt his feelings. Hmmm...maybe I will mention it to Silke, I know she won't have a problem telling him
