This is getting more intriguing, and passionate as this Saga continues....^^

A big, strapping guy like Stardirir being as bashful as a freaking adolescent, and nearly as clueless. Typical.
Fortunately, sweeeeet Allenel realized this soon enough and acted accordingly: to Oblivion with the subtle flirting, that's clearly NOT gonna work here, just be direct and to the point, the way most Nords appreciate it to begin with. ^^
When she started to snuggle up close to him, THEN he got the hint quick enough....
Stardrir's heart is most certainly lost now! (pumpitty-pump ensues)

    Endorsed.
Warm and kind thanks and cheers, dear!

Very well done! While I often prefer a strong man (like Hircine) I admit I find it very romantic when a very strong warrior turns all shy and bashful when faced with a possible romantic encounter. In a way it says they are good men since they respect women enough to actually feel shy around one they like. Course he could be a cad but the way you wrote him made me think of a good man.

Great second chapter in the chronicles - very well done how you captured their slow comfort levels over the long journey to her homeland and how the nature of their conversation and relationship changed in the process. I am thinking I might see where this is going now ...

Thanks dear. Yes that was what I was going for with Stardrir; a no-fuss, no-nonsense, honest good guy (very unlike my usual chars I know)! I think he'd have been a great buddy with Grim come to think of it.

This is wonderful continuation of the first chapter with beautiful, atmospheric shots!
I think you did great describing the blooming feelings of both Allenel and Stardir, so beautiful. I do love such romances born out f friendship, filled with tenderness. Stardir was so adorably confused at Allenel's question, practically telling about his feelings without the words for his shyness has reflected it all. Allenel was more open about her feelings, she just follows her heart and I doubt she will regret such decision...
thank you very much for sharing your wonderful work! Off to the next chapter!

Thanks hon - I had you in mind when writing this bit (along with Alexi) as I know your fondness for sweet romance. I can't do the subject matter the same justice you do with Dannee and Sam but at least I can give my characters a nice moment (even if it will be short lived)!

Beautifully written ! Loved how you described their blooming friendship and as the journey went on, their friendship change into something more...intimate ! It was such a very endearing moment, how Stardir became nervous and was a bit at a loss when Allenel asked him if he had a sweetheart waiting for him back at him. Things simply going on from there. Now i find myself a bit nervous for this young blooming relationship !

Amazing work Jess dear ! Looking forward to the next chronicle !

Thanks Lia, as I said to kami, I don't write a lot of romance so this was a bit of a stretch but I'm glad you enjoyed it! Now why would you be feeling nervous for these young lovers

It is wonderful the way you wrote about that growing friendship between them as they spoke on their journey, sharing more and more of themselves with each other, from the plight of their people to the memories of their own pasts, such treks do have a way of bringing people together it seems. Was amusing how nervous Stardrir was as Allenel wondered if he had a sweatheart, the flush of his cheeks, his halting words and I really liked the playfulness of Allenel's words. Looks like that night they became far more than friends, tender caresses, a shared kiss and passions by the crackle of the fire. Fantastic work, Jess, I very much look forward to the next chronicle

Thanks dear! I'm not terrible comfortable writing sweet romantic scenes (cruelty and barbarism come much easier to me! ) so I'm glad you enjoyed this scene. I was thinking of your merry band and how their travels have brought them all closer (especially Edrelle and Dimitri) when I wrote this!

Oh now I have it I think.......... interesting way to show the back ground if I am right..... great shots and story Jess....

I always enjoy your back ground stories, and have finally finished chapter 1 of Ambrosia's and working on chapter 2 understand just how hard it is to get it all in line to fit the char you have created.......

Thanks hon! Yes, it's a bit bizarre to be writing about characters that aren't even featured in the shots! But to have setup Allenell and Stardrir just to explain Fin's backstory would've been so much work!

Ooo, I must go read up on Miss Blue! I'm glad you're writing again too hon! Funny how we both came back to it!

So, I'm at a bit of loss what to think .. I do so hope for once a romance type of Thing in your stories works out and those two that found each other against the Odds of being so far away at the start are not ripped apart cruely but knowing you and your style of Story telling I fear I did jinx them with this comment Wonderfully written nontheless, and a great way of bringing elves and nords closer together!

Hahaha, I didn't get the nickname 'queen of mean' for nothing

Thanks hon and I'm glad you're enjoying the sweet romance bit of the tale, and who knows, maybe it will last??
