About this image
Here is a scenic shot taken on the many steps that lead to the halls of High Horthgar among the soft warm light of the morning, a curious wind seeming to want to lead the way as adventurers steps crunched in the snow, a few shimmering snowflakes drifting along on its swirling journey between snowy pine trees.
I made it back home from my drive across Canada yesterday, my dad and me drove 8000km in about seven and a half days, having seen plains and rolling hills, snow topped mountains, the rocky shores of one of the great lakes and forests of pine and aspen. Visited my Brother in the Rockies where he is working for a heli-skying company after having taken a mountaineering course, was nice to see him. We encountered some treacherous winter conditions on they way back, the effects of the great lake leading to conditions that changed very often, fog, heavy snowfall and rain. Was quite an adventure though it is nice to be back in the comfort of home after all the driving.
I am going to try to do some writing for the next chapter of Edrelle's tale, will be away on the 28th to visit some family in Montreal so I am not sure when the tale chapter will be ready.

Very happy to hear you made it home safely. Sounds like you had an amazing trip.
The weather did not make that an easy thing, happy to be back. Was a long drive but the sights along the way were worth it
Seems to be like you had your own little adventure driving home - been in that weather myself all to often and can be a little stressful when driving in it. Glad you made it home as safe as Edrelle and her friends do on their own adventures. Enjoy your trip to Montreal as well!
Indeed, I think adventure is a word that fits that journey back - driving in those conditions was a little harrowing at times but we made it through them. Thanks, Jonathan, I am equally glad to have made it home safe as Edrelle and friends after an adventure. Thanks, should have a nice time in Montreal
Happy Holidays!
Happy Holidays to you too
Great to know that you had such pleasant and exiting adventure in a form of trip, and visited your family. I hope that despite the weather conditions on your way back, the weather did no spoil your mood!
