He he, Dannee will always have her hands full with dear Sofie! That much is certain.
So it seems Serana intends to follow through with seeking a cure. It would be best but I'm still not sure if she will really do it. I wonder...
Well this was an EPIC and emotional and action packed series dear Nataly! I am in awe once again!
Thank you for this amazing work!
Oh, one more thing... I LOVE Selina!!!! What an epic character! I hope she will "pop" in again in the future!
Yeah, Babbette could never suspect she will meet her end by hands of Sofie! That must boost her self confidence, yet Sofie knows that this time it was more her luck then anything else!
For now Serana is determined to get the cure... however Molag Bal doesn't have a habit of letting go of his playthings easily, even if these playthings now oppose him.
Thank you very much again! and I am so happy that you've liked Selina! I might do her own story, telling about her in the past... that aside from interactions she will have with Dannee and her friends.
Serana and Dannee's scene together was tough; whenever there's confrontation in a story I always get squirrelly (because i'm no good at confrontation in RL). I think that Serana returning to Dannee's side is just about the bravest thing i've ever seen her do and I think she needs to lighten up on herself about cowardice! She also needs to lighten up on herself about being a monster; sure she's a product of her upbringing and her father, but she's also had a lot of time to mix and learn from the GOOD people surrounding her. Maybe this will be the turning point in her life? She knows that she's done Dannee seriously wrong this time and though Dannee forgives (as she herself said), she won't soon forget. It's time to wake up Serana.
I was saddened to see the back of Selina who I feel is one of the most interesting characters you've ever written (up there with Sam and Dannee herself). I do hope she returns some time, and I also hope she gets to find the Prince of Madness again... it's obvious she's smitten by him! I especially hope she and Sam get a chance to have some more scenes together; they have the best chemistry!!
This was a joy to read and I hope your next batch of Dannee stories come along soon... and of course we STILL have to acknowledge that the cause of all this trouble, Elenwen, got off scot free!! I'm sure SHE will have something else in mind to get back at Dannee... her and her new little Thalmor accomplice. Dang Thalmor...
Well, Sam and Dannee couldn't let Babette live after what she has done. But I bet she will have some quality time in Coldharbor or the Void, besides she continues to live in Rathe's tale.
You are right... Serana's return was the bravest things she has ever done... thanks to Selina and her work. For Serana what happened has opened her eyes on many things and issues and she is really grateful that it did not break what she has with Dannee, who showed the depth of her heart and gave her forgiveness she had craved so much. Maybe it will be indeed a turning point in Serana's life.
Well, Selina had to go back, she has a lot of duties and sadly Tamriel has ceased to be her safe heaven... the Isles became that for her. But she will come back... Selina always fulfills her promises, besides she also has day offs and now she knows where she could spend her free time... And thanks again for your kind words about her character! I also hope she will reunite with Prince of Madness. She fell for him two hundred years ago and continues to be smitten by him. Like Sam said - truest one man person she is! and Selina also enjoys bickering with Sam, she truly appreciates his way with words and knows what wonderful conversationalist he is.
Thank you very much again! yeah, everyone forgot about Elenwen and her possible involvement in this scheme, so she got out free and still has Tamaria to write her report to. And Dannee should continue to be vigilant around Thalmor, for evil never dies.
I will say that perhaps Dannee needs to accept some things about Sofie in the sense that she is being a little possessive and a bit over-protective (her Dragon side I presume). I mean Dannee must KNOW by now that Sofie is headstrong and wants to help. I think Dannee needs to accept that and instead of alwys trying to keep her safe in a box (I know, I know ... she is a child ... but not just any child) and do all she can to help train and teach her. Of course she can't let her roam the streets at night lol .. well I don't actually know what she can do since she is letting her train. But eventually she will grow up. That is why Grim let Lucia go to the guild along with Eir and Arnbjorn.Course Grim really isn't the best parent. Sorry no real point here as I don't think she can do anything more than she has. Not like she can let the girl go off and explore bleak falls barrow on her own. I guess maybe Sofie needs to know she has to stop lying and tell Dannee she wants to help when there is trouble ... and Dannee needs to see if she can think of any way to let her help that is lower risk but is still active.
Great fight with Babbette and glad she finally met her end. Sam was wonderful and I love all the little clues about him and Sofia. You really enjoy teasing us all don't you *grin* but then that is story telling at its best.
The reunion with Serana was very well done. Dannee did not cave or pretend that she was not hurt or upset. Yet she reminded Serana of all the important things between them and that it is fighting against the darkness that counts and not giving up. It was a nicely balanced way of showing forgiveness but not forgetting.
A memorable story Nataly - all seven chapters were a joy to read and made my day. I was able to enjoy them through the afternoon and finish them tonight. I, for one, am glad I did not have to wait on any cliff-hangers. They are very useful and I agree with some of the things Farvat said ... but still even when I read a novel I will sometimes flip ahead in the pages if I know I won't have time to get through a cliff-hanger. And when an author ends a book in a series on a big cliff-hanger - and knowing it may be years before they publish the next one ... well it tends to just irritate me. Sometimes I prefer to wait on trilogies and get them all at once.
Bravo on a great set of stories Nataly, I really enjoyed them.
Dannee is really need to stop thinking of Sofie as some helpless little kitten (you are right, Dannee is a dragon who wants to keep her treasures guarded), because this is exactly what makes Sofie seek such dangers… al in desire to prove that she is not helpless. They really need to talk about it one evening, however Sofie also should stop lying to poor Dannee, she is very kind to let her get away with it so far, but at one point she might stop being so understanding.
Thanks again! Glad that you’ve liked that fight with Babette! Sofie proved that her training with Aela, Dannee and Serana was not in vain and won a great victory. Sam is a sly one, guess e knows there is something about Sofie, but refuses to acknowledge it out of pure stubbornness, having no idea how to deal with the fact that she might be one of his own kids.
Well, Dannee had to say what she wanted to Serana… she did not hide the fact she was hurt and upset, yet she gave her a truth that she won’t banish her that she is still her friend and they can make it through even such thing as falling out… She will never forget what happened but is willing to give her fried a chance, because she knows it was like twisted version of Serana, her past self that acted so… not the woman she is now.
Thank you very much gain for your kind and encouraging words! I don’t like cliffhangers myself and also have a tendency to flip pages of my favorite books to see what will happen with heroes... also, I have a love for spoilers.
I really liked the emotions in that conversation Dannee and Serana had, the way Serana tried to find the right words, those soft but strong words of Dannee making her take the responsibility for her mistakes, the way Dannee reassure Serana that she was not monster, that she did not hate her, how Dannee made her forgive herself. Their friendship is sure to only get stronger despite the rough road it has taken. I could really feel that emotion and I am happy they all reconciled.
That little discussion between Selina and Sam was interesting, Sam seeing just why the madgod kept her around and I liked her bit of insight on Serana's thoughts, countering those words of Sam, perhaps he might understand her a little better. Was amusing how she vanished with Sam thinking her a show off, a fitting exit for one so sly from that odd realm. A beautiful, warm end to quite the dangerous and captivating chapter of Dannee's adventures
Sofie clearly chose Dannee as her action figure and while trying ti be brave as her, Sofie indeed has real heroic tendencies, she is a sweet and noble child and you are right, she has a great potential. Dannee surely noticed that and might begin giving Sofie more trainings in self defense. and their loving relationship is always a pleasure to write.
I am very glad that you've liked Dannee and Serana talk about her past, about acceptance and forgiveness. Dannee loves Serana as much as she loves her and even that damned spell won't stand in their way to reconciliation.
Thanks again for your kind words! I ma very happy that you've liked Selina and her ways of helping Dannee and her friends. And she is a little show off, Sam noticed it right about her. Hope she will soon catch up with him and others later, since she was both promised and was promised a valuable information.
Can't imagine it was very easy for Serana to admit to all of the darkness in her heart, but at least she broke the spell even if she's left weakened by her wound. Also glad Dannee didn't fall into that trap and killed innocent Aurora ! Phew !
Quite the intense parts afterward ! I find myself a bit of a lost of word, wonderful work ! a delight to read ! I'll be watching carefully for Dannee next adventure as i can't wait !
(PS: I might send you a PM sometime about few things for my own tale with Passion ^^ ..amongst other things ! )
Babette is very nasty in this story and certainly got what she deserved.
Yes, for Serana it was very difficult to admit all her dark desires and mistakes, yet she did and broke the spell. And Dannee appeared to be strong even on her own, in Unraveling story by Wolfgrimdark it was said that her dragon soul is very strong to outside influences...
Thank you very much again for your kind words! I will look forward to see your message, I am very curious what you had in mind for your tale about Passion.
