How touching that a tiny infant can soften a hardened Kodlak so....
Maybe Kodlak thinks that Skjor, being a father now, has finally grown up and become much more responsible than before?

    Endorsed.
Warm thanks, Jess, and cheers, dear!

So he will try to raise the child. And it seem Kodlak will forgive old trespasses. Very interesting!

Great music choice and I got all emotional (partly the musics fault) at the reunion with Kodlak - such a great scene of the two of them coming back together and the baby soothing over old wounds. Of course we know there will always be come conflict between the two of them, especially over the beast blood. Loved the shots - my kind of hero or anti-hero most likely knowing you

I thought you might like this particular backstory (knowing your fondness for the Companions and weres and warriors). I only hope I did (do) justice to the Companions as I can be pretty irreverent in my stories (as you well know)!

      Many thanks again dear.

Even if at the start he isn't much the father type, he still tries to do his best to take care of the infant. Learning things on the way. It was so adorable how Eyvind mended the bitterness between those two ! Quite crazy what the simple presence of a child can do !

    Onto the next part !

Seems that despite not being a father type he knew at least what his son would need, that safety of a home. It is quite the moment when among that bellowing between those with bitterness between them suddenly stopped when that squalling of Eyvind filled the hall, all that bitterness harbored by both washed away by a child, very touching. Now on to the next part

Thanks my dear. I have actually seen babies (or the birth of a baby) bring people together. So I thought 'why not these two grizzled old fellas'? And yes, despite not having that paternal instinct, Skjor knew enough about babies to realise he needed more for Eyvind than he himself could provide. At least he's got that much common sense!

Wow; great Detail in describing the grudges and healing process of said grudges between Kodlak and Skjor. Amazing work

Thanks hon. They're both proud, noble warrior types so I knew neither would want to 'back down' and mend fences... but at the same time, I know the hardest man can be a sucker for a cute, chubby little baby!!
