Sometimes I wish that wolf packs could do something other than always stand in one place, taking turns howling, lol. 

Either way, one awesome feature that comes with the polymorph spell is that you're added to the creature friend faction, and therefore all creatures, from wolves to giants will remain docile around you while you're in this state.
