   I am using this Really Cool mod to make this happen:
   
   Wilderness Thieves Wear Thieves Guild Armor by PrinceShroob
   
   The only thing that would make that mod even better would be if you had the option to recruit them as followers if you are able to talk them out of robbing you.
   
   I have seen some really bad-assed looked Thieves using this mod. lol
   
   Pretty Cool for sure.

   Impressive Kitty-Thief .. or not so impressive since he only tried to rob you and did not succeed good idea to talk him out of retrying
