There is a german fairy tale called "Der Wolf und die Sieben Geisslein" ("The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids" - leo.dict.org translated it that way, I hope it is not that far off) where at one point the Wolf says "Was rumpelt und pumpelt in meinem Bauch herum?" ("What is rummagin around in my stomach?" I immediatly had to think about this. :-)

Other than that... the poor lady seems to have died while Lydia and IdiotElf had their chat...

  I'd forgotten all about that one. I think mother comes along, slices open the wolfs stomach while he sleeps so the Kids hop out, then she fills his stomach with rocks and sows it back up again. We have such happy tales us Germans.
