Re-installed skyrim and most of my tools back on my new hard drive.i've watched The desolation of Smaug a week ago,I might as well restart by this XD!

    For anyone wondering, I remember seeing a comment from him (I think on his Deviantart) stating he was on an extended break. Can't really blame him; the community kept asking SO much of him despite the already amazing work he put out.

    Its really good to see that you are back Though im kinda pissed they made the dragons in skyrim wyverns. Real dragons have 4 legs and a pair of wings. and im pissed they made smaug like a wyvern too. In all the pictures of him he has 4 legs but peter jackoff made him with two. is that becoming a thing or are people generally uninterested in dragon lore? but hey, now you can make him just like the movie, Looking forward to that nonetheless

      i liked it since it gives more credibility to his flying, with 4 legs comes a bigger body and more muscles are needed to walk around on all 4, and muscles weigh alot. And that in turn (just in my opinion) would make the burden on his wings seem overwhelming

      I feel what you are getting at but c'mon, its just movies/games. If they can pull of the animations well enough it wouldnt matter. If they made skyrims dragons with 4 legs they would feel alot more intimidating. imagine A hard wind push knocks you off your feet when they take off and the fast 4 leg running on the ground would be terrifying. They are so slow in the game they pose no threat on the ground. you can just run away from them and pick them off with arrows. dark souls kalameet dragon fight is pure awesomeness.
      You are supposed to feel terrified when dragons swoop down not annoyed. There is a couple of mods here on nexus that makes dragons a lot harder but i dont feel scared i just feel even more annoyed and worried that i dont have enough arrows. Though i have to say smaug is terrifying but thats because of his voice and because he is HUUUGE.

      Yea well about the dragons being abit easy, indeed there are mods that fixes that, i use Legendary difficulty + the mods: Dragon Combat overhaul & Enhanced Mighty Dragons (by Erkeil)

      I know that Skywind team is working on new models and attatched animations (wich they are pretty much alone in doing because it is proper hard work). But they are only doing cliffrazors and other lore friendly creatures from morrowind. But maybe contact one of their lead animation artists and ask if he wants to do a 4 legged dragon is one of the very few ways i can see a 4 legged dragon coming to life in skyrim

      The reason they are not on four legs is because there has never been any known animal to evolve four legs in addition to two wings on it's back. In general the bone structure of dogs and winged animals are vastly different and the fusion of the two would cause issues with the front shoulders and the wings.

      If you look at the biological facts and other animals you will see the current form of the dragons in skyrim is the most reasonable from a realistic perspective.

      Two animals to note are Bats and pterodactyl (Yes that is how it's spelled). Both sport the same general concept of the front legs being the wings.

      Zerofrost is a modeler and texturer, not a animation(er?) He won't be able to give Smaug four legs because he can't, unless he gets help.

      lostami, evolution wise, all wings on every living creature on earth are evolved from front legs

      smaug looks good as it is tbh i cant imagine him with 4 legs

    Hello guys! first time commenting on anything related to Zerofrost's work. I check back often, and i might be wrong, but from what i see, Zerofrost, is working on a new dragon AKA Smaug.

    I decided to show this behind the scenes video i found on IGN for The Hobbit. If Zerofrost IS creating smaug for skyrim, maybe this video can help him.

    I would do anything to fight Smaug in Skyrim even though I would be destroyed instantly lol
    Big fan of your work Zerofrost when I look at your mods I feel like anything in Skyrim is possible
