"You said.. i met a Daedric Prince who are considered to be one either evil or good?" - Irene shook her head.. "huh.. guess i should consider myself lucky to live."
"Hey.. dont say that! You have no idea.. no idea how worried i was!" - Alana yells almost making Irene's left ear deaf.
"He didnt seem too evil'ish when he spoke to me at arrival, but he certainly seemed eager to meet me again.. one day.." - Irene gives Alana a comforting hug.
"Meet you again? well.. lets hope we all will meet him then and not you alone!" - Sighne says sternly.
"Alright.. well, had enough of this place anyway.. lets go!" - Irene decides and walks up the stairs right behind the altar where the book DID lay, but being too much into thinking about what happened they didnt even care to notice that the book was not there anymore.
On top of the circle'd stairs, Louise being dizzie and all, a door probably leading to the exit was sighted and luckely it wasnt locked. Past the door they closed it and found their way through a quite so dark hallway, which even smelled differently than a normal ruin. It wasnt a ruin anymore.. but a cave. Sand and gravel falling off the earthy roof which have been carved in to make out this hallway to a properly living place for those in the past who actually dared to live in such caves.
"Hmm.. nice place.." - Alana sarcasticly said walking behind Irene through the darkness.. "should've been lit at least.." - she continued but got interupted by a signal of being quiet from Irene. She probably heard something and being in such place that whatever she heard would probably not be of a something kind.
"What is it?" - Sighne slowly walked forth towards Irene and whispered.
"I hear voices, and it is close." - Irene frowns looking around.
"Voices? Bandits?" - Sighne response and focuses her gaze where Irene looks too.
"Dont know, but i bet we gonna find out.." - Irene answers silently and starts to sneak forward. And around a corner Irene saw someone sitting on a chair chatting with someone who stood behind the other wall.
"She does not exactly look like a Bandit.. maybe an Adventurer?" - Alana whispered.
"Perhaps, i will go and ask then." - Irene simply answered.
"Wh.. what? just go in there and ask? what if there are more?" - Alana almost wanted to grab her shoulders and shake some damn reasons into her confidence.
"Dear.. dont worry, you three wont be far away so if something will go bad.. you will know when to help out. I just dont want to attack them if not necessary." - Irene gave Alana a reassuring smile. Recieved a nod back and then lit up a torch to look like she wasnt sneaking and then walked forth towards the lass sitting on the chair enjoying a mug of whatever of liquid in.
"Ah, been in Bloodskal Barrow, has you?" - the Elf looked up at Irene with a smug grin. Stopped the conversation with the other lad as he also turned around from whatever he was doing and looked at Irene with a suspicious look.
"Yes, i have.. not the best place to linger exactly.. those Draugrs are quite nasty.. and wow so angry, dont you agree?" - Irene gave back a slight smile.
"Oh yes, they arent one of the peaceful sort. Impossible to make dealings with.. alot better to just kill.. again." - the Elf kept grinning and the other lad nodded in agreement when Irene exchanged gaze between him and her. He still didnt smile though, while Irene kept her descreet look on their armour to actually figure out if they were Bandits or not. Their armour werent as worn out to be a usual one, more like those travelling or perhaps a Mercenary.
"Indeed.. better to kill them before they kill you. But the brighter side.. they dont put up much of a challenge anyway.." - Irene widened her slight smile at the Elf.
"Matching your or my skills against them.. they have no chance in a world.. even if they were 5.." - she snort'd back.
"Confident are you?" - Irene stared at her smug eyes.
"Confident enough to beat you if i want!"
"I dont think so.." - Irene answered and changed to a more serious expression as she swiftly dodged that random arrow, feeling the wind of it blast past her right ear as she then quickly grabs one of her knifes and throws it towards the lad who had obviously tried to shoot for a kill but horribly failed. Hits him right in the throat, hearing him spit and gurgle blood as he falls in the kettle who was boiling filled with soup.
"Did you really think you could get away by just innocently walk through here? then you're sadly wrong my dear!" - she rise up from her chair, letting her mug fall on the ground as she unsheathes her steel dagger with determined look in her eyes pierced into Irene's purple eyes.
"He started!" - Irene shrugs and dodge the first try of hit with that steel dagger..
Irene dodge another blow and then slams the torch right onto her arm holding the dagger so she looses it and then pushes her into the wall holding her hand in front of her throat pressing it not too hard while slowly moving closer to her face.
"I'm not going to kill you, unless you wont give me any other choice.. i dont see any reasons to kill a Mercenary like you." - Irene starts, seeing the lass grit her teeths and starts struggle herself out of the grip, but stops instantly as she feels the pressure of Irene's arm tighten on her throat starting give her abit trouble breathing.
"You should give up.. i can kill you with pressing my arm tighter.. i may aswell break your neck to kill you faster.." - Irene stares into her soul, feeling her heartbeat starts to beat faster, not in an adrenaline kind of way of the urge to kill but in a way of being scared. The Elf starts to stutter..
"But i wont kill you.."
"You wont?" - she stutters again.
"No, so run.. or let me and my friends here.. slip past you without you attacking." - Irene gives a signal to Alana, Sighne and Louise to come forth. The Mercenary looks at the as they step into the light of both Irene's torch and the bonfire lighting up the other lad's armour.
"Oh.. um.. well.. i can see you're not alone.. and you four seems to be quite friendly sort so i will let you pass." - she managed to force a slight nervous smile looking at Irene.
"Smart lass!" - Irene smiles and claps her shoulder gently. But right after, and not surprising for Irene she just starts running out instead of standing there.. understandable for being alone..
"That burnt body doesnt smell too very good so i want to get out as fast as possible aswell.." - Louise holds her hands in front of her nose seeing the dead Mercenary laying in the bonfire burning.. and out they were going.
Close to the exit, Irene notice bodies of two dead civillians laying in a corner. Remembering one of them being an Imperial of the city she once lived in Cyrodiil. Didnt know Solstheim were his last destination though.. wishing she could inform his family who probably didnt know what have happened to him but that would risk her being disposed to those who were hunting her as a bounty so she couldnt do that... sadly..
Outside the group noticed they were close to the coast, rather said right next to it on top of a ruined tower leading into Bloodskal Barrow. And ofcourse even though the Elf was nowhere to be found, one other lad was standing there somehow ready and stupid enough to be alone having his weapon unsheated and tried his best to be intimidating.
"I.. i... wont.. um.. let you go.. um.. through!" - he stuttered nervously.
"Are you suicidal? you can easily see you're outnumbered.. and as far as i can see you have no one to back up up." - Irene shook her head, as he started to back away.. sweat sliding down his forehead like a waterfall and didnt even look where he stepped..
"Hey.. maybe you should look where you..." - Irene started but too late as he falls off the edge and lands on his back in a small pillar of rock below. Hearing his back crack and a final scream before silence. Irene sighed as she walks down the tower, walks towared the sea and sees the waves slam onto the mountain side, and further ahead she sees two creatures which she has been told was called Netches.
"I'm not quite sure where we are right now, but we can deffinately not walk back through that ruin again." - Irene says hearing her three friends walk closer behind her.
"Well.. it'll be interesting to look around, wont it?" - Alana give her a smile.
"Sure, it will." Irene smiles back as they walks the other way, past the tower and continued along the coast.
"Huh.. whats that?" - Irene frowns over the horizon suddenly.
"Whats what?" - Alana asks looking at the same direction.
"That?" - Irene points.. "and it comes rather quickly towards us.."
"Looks like... Werewolves?" - Louise frowns suspiciously too.
"Naah, cant be.. they look somehow.. bigger around their faces.." - Sighne mention why looking at the strange creatures in the distance thoroughly. Coming closer and closer the four ladies look at the one, no two.. and a man dressed in just rags of jeans filled with dirt and almost all ripped into pieces. The man seem to see the ladies standing there looking with their fingers tapping at their weapons ready for anything. Irene gasped with widened eyes for what she hasnt seen before.
"Its.. a bear?" - she gasped.
"Ho..how is that possible..." - Sighne shook her head, didnt believe what she was seeing but whatever if it was just her imagination or not.. that should be thought later cause the Werebears decided to attack.
"You shall DIEEEE!" - the man screamed as he charged forth with his Werebears behind. Irene fired up her firespell and burned him.. hearing him curse and swear as the bears behind him growled in anger feeling the heat surround them.
The man didnt have a chance, even if he also was a Werebear he didnt have chance to change so he fell down on the ground. One of the other Werebears looked down and snarled sending drools and spit flying hitting Alana in the face.
"Uuuh.. grosse.." - she quickly wiped it off and when she opened her eyes she saw Irene was fighting one of the Werebears and the other one charging straight towards her, which Sighne jumped in to fight with with her huge axe. Louise walked around with her bow supporting Irene while Alana jumped into helping Sighne cause those bears really didnt had only strenght but also speed just like original Werewolves. Irene dodged and hit her sword at the thick fur'd skin, then dodging another blow of claws which could rip her skin straight off if she hadnt dodged. Alana moved too with swiftness, playing around as a decoy while Sighne could use most of her strenght more than her speed to just simple dug the sharp axe of hers as deep as she could through that furry skin. The Werebear growled and the speed of Alana made him even more angry as he suddenly manage to grab Sighne's axe and push her into the ground.
Meanwhile Irene were still dodging around like a dance with fire in one hand and sword in other. Louise noticed her sister being down on the ground and despite Alana's chances to be a decoy the bear didnt seem to care much and she readies one arrow and hitting it with perfect hit in the face, and as it growls in pain Alana thrusts both her daggers through his neck as he growls even louder and turns around swinging both his thick hands into a slap right onto Alana sending her flying backwards almost into the water. And what the Werebear didnt thought about was Sighne who then had gotten just enough time to rise up, lift up her axe and delievered one final blow with such great strenght she has.. sending the sharp blade of the axe through his skull hearing it crack open as it falls down numblessly. Louise were already back supporting Irene as Sighne rushes to see if Alana was okay.
"Goddamn their skin's like armour.." - Irene curse as she sends one firebomb straight into the Werebear almost burning her own face, then seeing one perfect moment to thrust her sword through his neck, almost decapping the beast.
"Are you alright?" - Sighne asks kneeling down to where Alana lay.
"Yea.. yea i'm fine thanks." - she answers with a slight smile, accepting Signe's hand to be helped up on her feets. Brushed some dirt off her armour then walked towards Irene and Louise who were talking.
"Werebears? really.. did you know they existed?" - Irene looked at the corpse.
"No.. strange cause never seen anything like that in Skyrim.. never heard tales about them either.." - Louise answers with a frown.
"Maybe someone on this island is experimenting?" - Sighne mentions as she walks closer towards them.
"Could be.. or maybe we should ask Hircine?" - Alana shrugs.
"Alright.. you do that." - Sighne and Louise looks at her with a grin, making Alana thing twice about it even though she didnt ment it seriously and shrugs again making Irene chuckle at her reaction.
