Yngol was the eldest son of the legendary Ysgramor, he also had a younger brother, Ylgar. Yngol as well as his brother were said to have been taken to Mereth with Ysgramor as he tried to flee from the civil war on Atmora, meaning that he was among the very first Men to have set foot on the continent that is later known as Tamriel.
