This modification will allow you to play as Jake Armitage in the Dead Man's Switch campaign, including a new custom portrait. Furthermore, it will replace the Jake Armitage NPC with a different character--simply named Jake--to prevent any awkward encounters with yourself.
I've modified his stats and equipment to be more appropriate for a starting character. He's a 34 Karma character with his points dispersed amongst quickness/pistols, body (HP), dodging, intelligence/decking, etc. Armitage comes equipped with an Ares Predator pistol and a datajack. His equipment can be upgraded, though new armors won't be visible. His etiquette is set to Shadowrunner.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Always be sure to make a backup first!
Simply replace your Dead Man's Switch Content Pack with this one (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Shadowrun Returns\Shadowrun_Data\StreamingAssets\ContentPacks).
Start a new game and select "Default Character"
