But a question though, to have a modded Oblivion running smooth Oblivion Reloaded is highly recommended and Alenet is giving very detailed instructions on how to install Oblivion to make it work properly with OR, perhaps you can have a look into this ?
"taking my time with it" is a good thing to do but if you're using OR it must be installed before any other mod making it a first priority While doing so you must also configure your video settings for playing Oblivion, as far as I understand it - using NVidia - if using OR only the triple buffering option here can - and must - be used, no idea about amd though ... And even with OR working properly there are still many mods that are highly recommended for a smooth and stable gameplay, to mention a few:
And last but certainly not least, Alenet has warned us that future versions of OR might become incompatible with EBN so perhaps you might try OBGE instead of some EBN and though I must admit here that Astroboy's "A Tweaked ENB" is still far better than everything I've seen with OBGE this does not mean that it's impossible
Now that's a helpful comment = ) I heard of some of the mods for the pre-game "show" = ) A lot of what I start with comes from STEP. Some of them were mentioned some weren't but I'll be checking into them all.
Thanks for the ENB, OR update as well. I'll be coming back here for reference = )
Angkor, can I ask you, if I'm playing my game on an HDTV smart tv with 1080p resolution, should I set the max resolution to as high as I can go in the Nvidia settings panel. or exactly at 1080 p only? Alenet's instructions are to set the reso as high as possible, but this doesn't make sense to me, unless he meant ' to set as high as your monitor/tv allows..
Well, I don't know I'm playing on a pc with 1920x1080 resolution and I have a connection with a tv where I use the same resolution, don't think setting your resolution is critical in any way though except of course for immersion etc ...

There's a lot that I have to learn about modding Oblivion so I'm taking my time with it.

With OR you're making a foundation for your game and the stronger this foundation, the more weight it can carry ...
