The server move is now complete, but as sod's (or Murphy's) law dictates, we hit a few snags along the way so we had a few hours of down-time. If you find any issues please let me know.
Just wanted to let you all know that I am in the process of moving TESNexus over to a new server today. While the server itself is coping perfectly fine right now the hard-drives have been low on space for some time and my hosting provider in the UK, Krystal, offered me a nice deal in which if I bought the new hard-drives they'd move me over to a more powerful server (double memory, up 16GB to 32GB, better processor, etc.) for free, an offer too good to pass up!
A few people were kind enough to PM me asking if I wanted them to send me their old 1TB hard-drives. It's a kind gesture but the web servers need SCSI drives to handle all the I/O traffic that comes from file-serving. If anyone has any 600GB+ SCSI drives they want to give me then that's a different story entirely..! Sadly most people don't use SCSI drives.
The sites will be taken down some time later today, probably for around 15 minutes so no database information is lost in the transition. Other than that the transition should be seamless, ignoring sod's law.
